March 14, 2007 (Burbank, California) - Despite facing tough competition this week from a two-hour "American Idol," The CW's new hit "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" placed second among adults 18-34 (1.6/4), women 18-34 (2.3/6), teens (2.0/7) and female teens (3.0/10), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, March 13.

"Pussycat Dolls" recruited its own audience to the 9:00 hour, building on its "Gilmore Girls" encore lead-in by 60% in adults 18-34, 44% in women 18-34, 38% in adults 18-49, 33% in women 18-49, 100% in teens and 88% in female teens.

"Pussycat Dolls" continues to outperform The CW's Tuesday 9:00p.m. time period by 23% in adults 18-34, 28% in women 18-34, 14% in women 18-49, 54% in teens and 50% in female teens.

Overall, The CW ranked second from 8:00-10:00p.m. among women 18-34 (2.0/5), teens (1.5/5) and female teens (2.3/7).

"Pussycat Dolls" recruited its own audience to the 9:00 hour, building on its "Gilmore Girls" encore lead-in by 60% in adults 18-34, 50% in women 18-34, 38% in adults 18-49, 33% in women 18-49, 122% in teens and 100% in female teens.

"Pussycat Dolls" continues to outperform The CW's Tuesday 9:00p.m. time period by 23% in adults 18-34, 33% in women 18-34, 7% in women 18-49, 43% in teens and 60% in female teens.

Overall, The CW ranked second from on Tuesday among women 18-34 (2.0/5), teens (1.5/5) and female teens (2.4/7).
