Billy & Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure Premieres as Cartoon Network's Top-Rated First Quarter '07 Original Movie

Animated Comedy Adventure Also Scores as Top-Rated Original Movie Ever Among Kids 2-11 and Boys 2-11

Following the success of two previous Cartoon Network original animated films this quarter, Billy & Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure (Friday, 7 p.m.) premiered as the network's top-rated original film of First Quarter �07, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. Scoring significant double-digit delivery and ratings gains of 38%-63% across key kid demos, the film also set a new Cartoon Network record for the highest delivery and ratings ever among kids 2-11 and boys 2-11 for an original movie. Follow-up encores on Friday night (8:45 p.m.) and Saturday morning (9:30 a.m.) also performed exceptionally well, with Saturday's telecast charting as Cartoon Network's most watched program of the day with kids 6-11 with a 3.6 rating and a delivery of 866,000 viewers.

Highlights of Billy & Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure premiere performance among Cartoon Network's target kid audiences vs. the same 2006 time period include the following:

- Kids 6-11 delivery (1,143,000) and ratings (4.7) both increased by 38%

- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,578,000) expanded by 40%, and ratings (3.9) by 39%

- Boys 6-11 delivery (869,000) and ratings (7.0) both improved by 63%

- Boys 2-11 delivery (1,112,000) surged ahead by 58%, and ratings (5.4) by 59%

Billy & Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure out-performed Cartoon Network's earlier original movie offerings presented during First Quarter '07, including My Gym Partner's a Monkey: The Big Field Trip (Jan. 14, 7 p.m.) and Camp Lazlo: Where's Lazlo? (Feb. 18, 7 p.m.). The movie also ranked as the top program of the day on all television�both broadcast and basic cable�with boys, and as Cartoon Network top program of the day across all kids demographics.
