ABC took second place among Adults 18-49 (3.1/9-tied w/CBS) during the week, while also holding the No. 2 position to Fox and beating CBS in Adults 18-34 (2.5/8), Teens 12-17 (1.5/5) and Kids 2-11 (1.4/6). ABC tied its highest Adult 18-49 delivery in 7 weeks - since the week of 2/19/07, the week of its Oscar telecast.

Weekly Rankings: ABC claimed 8 of the Top 20 TV programs during the week among Adults 18-49, including 4 of the Top 8 shows in the key sales demo: "Desperate Housewives" � No. 5, "Lost" � No. 6, "Grey's Anatomy (clip show)" � No. 7, "Dancing with the Stars-MON" � No. 8, "Brothers & Sisters" � No. 11, " "Dancing with the Stars the Results-TU" � No. 15, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" � No. 18 and "Notes from the Underbelly SP" � No. 20. It was ABC's highest number of shows in the weekly Top 20 in 5 months � since w/o 11/13/06. ABC also aired 3 of the week's Top 10 most-watched television programs: "Dancing with the Stars-MON" � No. 5, "DWTS the Results Show-TU" � No. 6 and "Desperate Housewives" � No. 7. ABC's "Lost" continued to rank as the No. 1 10 o'clock TV show on any network during the week in Adults 18-49.

Monday

With continued impressive results from "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman," ABC stood as Monday's most-watched TV network (14.0 million) for the 4th week in a row. For the 3rd time in 4 weeks, ABC ranked No. 1 on the night among Adults 18-49 (4.1/11 � tied w/CBS).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-9:31 p.m.)

Dominating its time period, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was the No. 1 TV program on Monday in Total Viewers (18.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.8/13). In addition to winning with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, the broad appealing ABC unscripted program also ranked No. 1 in its time period among Adults 25-54 (6.1/15), Adults 18-34 (3.3/10), Teens 12-17 (2.2/7) and Kids 2-11 (2.7/9).

� "Dancing with the Stars" was up from the prior week in Total Viewers (18.8 million vs. 18.2 million), while retaining 100% of its Adult 18-49 audience (4.8/13).

"The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" (9:31-11:00 p.m.)

"The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" ranked No. 1 in its time slot and stood as Monday's No. 1 television program with the series' targeted audience of Women 18-34 (5.0/13), tied with ABC's "DWTS." The show ranked second in its slot with Women 18-49 (5.2/13) and Women 25-54 (5.2/12)

� On its second telecast, ABC's "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" exhibited strong retention of its week-earlier season premiere delivery in viewers and young adults: Total Viewers (92% - 9.1 million vs. 9.9 million), Adults 18-49 (92% - 3.4/9 vs. 3.7/9) and Adults 18-34 (94% - 3.0/9 vs. 3.2/9). "The Bachelor" was up 4% from its season opener with Women 18-34 (5.0/13 vs. 4.8/13).

� "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" posted increases from the second installment of its most recent edition ("The Bachelor: Rome" on 10/9/06) in both Total Viewers (9.1 million vs. 7.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.4/9 vs. 3.1/7). It was the most-watched Week 2 for "The Bachelor" in 3 years (Five "The Bachelors" ago) � since 4/14/04.

Tuesday

ABC produced its largest Tuesday audience (11.6 million) and matched its top Adult 18-49 number (2.9/8) on the evening since November � since 11/14/06 and 11/28/06, respectively.

"Dancing with the Stars: Performance Recap Show" (8:00-9:03 p.m.)

A special "Dancing with the Stars: Performance Recap Show" improved ABC's numbers in the hour week to week by 3.4 million viewers (7.6 million vs. 4.2 million) and by 20% in Adults 18-49 (1.8/5 vs. 1.5/4).

"Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" (9:03-10:01 p.m.)

Shooting up from its lead-in by 9.7 million viewers and by 133% among young adults against Fox's "American Idol"-fueled "House" in the 9 o'clock hour, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" delivered a competitive second-place finish in its time period in Total Viewers (17.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.2/11). Although CBS enjoyed a lead-in advantage coming into the hour from an original "NCIS," "DWTS the Results Show" moved ahead of third-place "The Unit" (10.4 million & 2.8/7) by 6.9 million viewers and by 50% in Adults 18-49. TV and radio personality Leeza Gibbons was the third celebrity dancer to be eliminated from the ABC dance contest.

� "DWTS the Results Show" grew its audience from the prior week by 2.3 million viewers (17.3 million vs. 15.0 million) and by 8% in Adults 18-49 (4.2/11 vs. 3.9/10).

Boston Legal" (10:01-11:00 p.m.)

ABC's "Boston Legal" ranked No. 1 during the 10 o'clock hour among Total Viewers (10.3 million) and Adults 25-54 (3.8/10-tie). In Adults 18-49 (2.8/8), the show finished within one-tenth of a rating point of first place in the slot.

� "Boston Legal" drew its biggest audience in the hour in more than 5 months, while generating and its top Adult 18-49 rating since February � since 10/31/06 and 2/13/07, respectively.

Wednesday

ABC finished second to Fox on Wednesday among Adults 18-49 (3.0/8 � tied) and Adults 18-34 (2.7/8). In fact, opposite Fox's lineup of the "'Til Death" season finale and an expanded 1-hour "American Idol," ABC saw an 8% increase in Adults 18-34 (2.7/8 vs. 2.5/8) over the previous week.

"George Lopez" (8:00-8:30 p.m.)

"George Lopez" attracted ABC's largest audience (6.4 million) in the half-hour in 2 months � since 2/14/07

"Lost" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Building on its lead-in by 8.3 million viewers (12.1 million vs. 3.8 million) and by 247% in young adults (5.2/14 vs. 1.5/3), "Lost" dominated Wednesday's 10 o'clock hour across the adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (4.4/14), Adults 18-49 (5.2/14) and Adults 25-54 (5.7/14). In fact the ABC drama has won its hour in the key Adult 18-49 sales demographic on all 10 telecasts since entering its new time slot.

� ABC's "Lost" defeated CBS' "C.S.I.: NY" by a substantial 53% among Adults 18-49 (5.2/14 vs. 3.4/9), the largest-ever margin of victory for the ABC drama over the CBS series in originals.

� "Lost" topped its week-ago deliveries in both Total Viewers (12.1 million vs. 11.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (5.2/14 vs. 4.9/13). In addition, "Lost" posted its strongest Women 18-34 (5.6/15) performance in 5 weeks � since 3/7/07.

� "Lost" improved the hour for ABC over the same night last year by 5.7 million viewers and 108% in Adults 18-49 (6.4 million & 2.5/7 on 4/12/06).

Thursday

Featuring clips shows for "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy," followed by the series opening telecast of "Notes from the Underbelly" in the 10 o'clock hour, ABC took a solid second place to CBS' original lineup in Total Viewers (9.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.7/10). In fact ABC defeated third-place NBC's original prime schedule by 2.6 million viewers and by 12% in Adults 18-49 (NBC = 7.1 million & 3.3/9). ABC delivered the No. 1 network position on Thursday with Adults 18-34 (3.4/10) and Women 18-34 (4.9/14).

� Versus the same night last year when its lineup was comprised of all-original programming, ABC was up by 2.5 million viewers and by 48% in Adults 18-49 (7.2 million & 2.5/7 on 4/13/06).

"Ugly Betty" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Opposite originals of CBS' "Survivor: Fiji" and Fox's "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?," ABC's "Ugly Betty" clip show outdrew NBC's original comedies ("My Name is Earl"/"The Office") by 1.0 million viewers from 8:00-9:00 p.m. (8.2 million vs. 7.2 million).

� Despite going up against first-run competition on the other nets, the "Betty" season recap show gained audience throughout its telecast, growing by 8% in Viewers (7.9 million to 8.5 million) and 23% among Adults 18-49 (2.2/7 to 2.7/7) from its first half-hour to its second half-hour.

"Grey's Anatomy" (9:00-10:01 p.m.)

Against an original "C.S.I.," a "Grey's Anatomy" clip show delivered a strong second place in the 9 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (12.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (5.0/13). ABC topped third-place NBC's original comedies ("30 Rock"/"Andy Barker, P.I.") in the time period by 7.6 million viewers and by 92% in Adults 18-49 (NBC = 5.0 million & 2.6/7). The "Grey's" recap ranked No. 1 in the slot with Adults 18-34, outdelivering CBS' "C.S.I." by 7% (4.8/14 vs. 4.5/13).

"Notes from the Underbelly" (10:01-11:00 p.m.)

Against the return of NBC's "ER" to the time period and CBS' original episode of "Shark" in the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's opening telecast of "Notes from the Underbelly" ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-34 (3.4/10) and across each of the key women demos: W18-34 (4.7/13), W18-49 (5.1/13) and W25-54 (5.6/14-tie).

Editors Please Note: ABC's "Notes from the Underbelly" moves to its regular Wednesday 8:30 p.m. time period this coming Wednesday, on 4/18/07.

� "Notes from the Underbelly" qualifies as TV's top comedy premiere since CBS' "Rules of Engagement" (on 2/5/07) in Total Viewers (8.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.6/10). Additionally, "Notes" delivered the best Women 18-34 number (4.7/13) for any comedy premiere since ABC's "Ugly Betty" (on 9/28/06), representing the second-highest-rated on television this season.

� Versus the same night last year (4/13/06), "Notes from the Underbelly" improved the 10 o'clock time period for ABC among Total Viewers (8.3 million vs. 8.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.6/10 vs. 2.4/7).

Friday

Wife Swap" (9:01-10:02 p.m.)

ABC's repeat airing of "Wife Swap" topped its network competition in the hour among Adults 18-49 (1.8/6), including CBS' repeat special "Shark" (1.7/5), Fox's original telecast of "Fox Night at the Movies: White Chicks" (1.7/5) and NBC's original airing of "Raines" (1.5/5).

"20/20" (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

ABC News' "20/20" ranked No. 1 in its time-slot Adults 18-49 (2.0/6 � tied) and Adults 18-34 (1.5/6).

Sunday

ABC won its third straight Sunday in Adults 18-49 (4.3/11), beating second-place CBS by 48% (2.9/8) and overshadowing Fox's lineup by 72% (2.5/7), including the 2-hour series debut of the highly promoted "Drive." In fact ABC ranked No. 1 in all 8 half-hours of the evening in the key sales demo, including the 8 o'clock time slot with a repeat of "Home Edition" against all-original competition.

� ABC garnered its highest-rated Sunday in 6 weeks among Adults 18-49 � since 3/4/07.

� For the second straight week, ABC's "Desperate Housewives" qualified as Sunday's No. 1 TV show in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. ABC claimed the Top 3 TV programs on Sunday in Adults 18-49, with "Housewives," "Brothers & Sisters" and "Home Edition" repeat, respectively

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

"America's Funniest Home Videos" started ABC off a strong No. 1 during the 7 o'clock hour, leading its time period by 13% over second-place CBS in Adults 18-49 (2.6/8 vs. 2.3/7). ABC's broad skewing "Videos" ranked as the No. 1 TV program of the night in Kids 2-11 (2.4/9).

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Against all-original competition, ABC's repeat airing of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" won the 8 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (10.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.8/10). The replay "Home Edition" beat second-place CBS in the hour by 1.3 million viewers and by 27% in Adults 18-49 (CBS' "Amazing Race All-Stars" = 9.0 million & 3.0/8). With the first hour of its series debut of "Drive," Fox finished No. 4 in viewers and No. 3 in Adults 18-49.

"Desperate Housewives" (9:00-10:02 p.m.)

Sunday's No. 1 TV program, ABC's "Desperate Housewives" soared to the top of its 9 o'clock time period in viewers and young adults. "Housewives" outpaced its nearest competition in the 9 o'clock hour, CBS' "Cold Case," by 4.2 million viewers (16.4 million vs. 12.2 million) and by 113% in Adults 18-49 (6.4/15 vs. 3.0/7).

� "Desperate Housewives" was up week to week in both Total Viewers (16.4 million vs. 15.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (6.4/15 vs. 6.1/15).

"Brothers & Sisters" (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

For the second week in a row, ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" won Sunday's 10 o'clock hour in Adults 18-49, beating CBS' "Without a Trace" by 29% (4.5/11 vs. 3.5/9). The ABC freshman drama was also the time period leader among Adults 18-34 (3.1/9), Adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and across each of the women demographics: W18-34 (4.4/12), W18-49 (6.1/15) and W25-54 (6.8/16).

� Generating its best results in 6 weeks (since 3/4/07), "Brothers & Sisters" was up from the prior week by 5% in Total Viewers (11.3 million vs. 10.8 million) and by 13% in Adults 18-49 (4.5/11 vs. 4.0/10).
