The Season Finale of "CSI" Posts Best Demos in a Month

CBS Places First in Viewers on the Final Thursday of the Season

CBS placed first in viewers on the final Thursday of the season led by time period winning Bob Barker retrospective and the season finale of CSI, according to preliminary Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for May 17.

BOB BARKER: A CELEBRATION OF 50 YEARS OF TELEVISION (S) won its time period in households (9.4/16), viewers (14.34m) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.0/11).

The win marks the second consecutive night a Bob Barker special placed first in its time period. On Wednesday, THE PRICE IS RIGHT MILLION DOLLAR SPECTACULAR was first in its 8:00-9:00 PM time period in households (8.9/15), viewers (13.99m), adults 25-54 (4.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11, tied with FOX).

At 9:00 PM, the season finale of CSI was second in households (12.5/20), viewers (20.19m), adults 25-54 (7.6/18) and adults 18-49 (6.1/16). This is CSI's best households, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 deliveries since 4/12/07 and best viewers total since 4/26/07.

At 10:00 PM, a CSI special rebroadcast won its time period in households (9.0/15), viewers (13.38m) and finished second behind the last 15 minutes of "Grey's Anatomy" and a 45 minute "Lost" clip show in both adults 25-54 (5.0/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). In the 10:30-11:00PM half-hour, CBS easily topped "Lost: The Answer" in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

For the night, CBS was first in households (10.3/17), viewers (15.97m) and second in adults 25-54 (5.5/14) and adults 18-49 (4.4/12).
