Cable Ratings Round-Up (Week of May 21-27): USA Surges During Holiday Weekend
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- USA claimed seven of the 15 most-watched programs on cable last week, headlined by its Monday mainstay "WWE Raw" - 9:00 (4.7 million, #2) and 10:00 (5.5 million, #1).

Also making the cut were a pair of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" repeats on Saturday - 9:00 (2.5 million, #T15) and 10:00 (2.8 million, #9) - and a trio of "Monk" encores on Sunday - 8:00 (2.7 million, #T10), 9:00 (2.5 million, #T15) and 10:00 (2.7 million, #T10).

Meanwhile, TNT snagged three slots with its NBA coverage on Monday (Cavaliers/Pistons, 3.9 million, #5), Thursday (Cavaliers/Pistons, 4.3 million, #4) and Sunday (Pistons/Cavaliers, 4.4 million, #3).

And finally, Discovery's "The Deadliest Catch" posted 3.5 million viewers (#6) while ESPN's Jazz/Spurs coverage on Tuesday drew 3.4 million viewers (#7).

Outside the top 15, HBO saw a lackluster 1.8 million viewers tune into the premiere of "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" on Sunday.
