BRAVO'S 'KATHY GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST' SEASON THREE PREMIERE SETS RECORD RATINGS AND SERIES HIGH WITH MORE THAN ONE MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS
Season 3 Premiere Boasts 77 Percent Increase Over Season 2 Premiere
NEW YORK - June 6, 2007 - Bravo's "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" season three premiere set record ratings for the series across all key demographics - total viewers and the coveted A18-49 demographic, according to Nielsen Media Research. Last night's series premiere boasted a 77 percent increase over the season two premiere (6/06/06) in adults 18-49 (713,000 vs.402,000) and a 53 percent increase in total viewers (1,023,000 vs. 670,000).
In the premiere episode, Kathy performs at the legendary Carnegie Hall and introduces viewers to her new entourage including the assistant to the assistant, Tiffany Rinehart and tour manager/company whipping boy, Tom Vize, as well as her returning assistant Jessica Zajicek and her lovable parents. Episode two returns next week with Griffin making the dating scene with "Backstreet Boy" Nick Carter, Tuesday, June 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Additionally, Kathy's new stand-up special, "Everybody Can Suck It," provided the D-Lister her own strong lead-in, delivering 558,000 A18-49, a 15 percent increase over her last special "Strong Black Woman" (486,000 on 5/09/06) and a 34 percent increase in total viewers (872,000 vs. 652,000).
