ALL THREE NETWORKS IN THE NBC UNIVERSAL CABLE GROUP - USA, SCI FI AND BRAVO - DELIVER THEIR BEST SECOND-QUARTER RATINGS ON RECORD

THROUGH THE OPENING SIX MONTHS OF 2007, THE THREE NBC ENTERTAINMENT CABLE NETS ACCOUNT FOR EIGHT OF BASIC CABLE'S TOP 10 PRIMETIME ENTERTAINMENT SERIES IN 25-54

THROUGH THE YEAR'S FIRST HALF, THE NBCU NETS DELIVER TWO-THIRDS OF BASIC CABLE'S TOP 100 INDIVIDUAL PRIMETIME ENTERTAINMENT TELECASTS IN 25-54

BURBANK, Calif. July 15, 2007 The NBC Universal Entertainment Cable Networks, USA Network, SCI FI Channel and BRAVO, have all delivered their best second-quarter results on record, setting new marks for second-quarter primetime viewership among both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Through the first six months of 2007, USA, SCI FI and BRAVO have also combined to account for eight of basic cable's top 10 primetime entertainment series in adults 25-54 (three or more telecasts, original and encore, no sports, no specials*, no movies) and 67 of basic cable's top 100 individual primetime entertainment telecasts (no sports).

The eight top-10 primetime entertainment series of the year's opening six months include USA's "WWE Entertainment" (#1), "The Starter Wife" (#2), "House" (#3), "The 4400" (#5), "Psych" (#6), "The Dead Zone" (#9) and "Monk" (#10) and SCI FI's "Battlestar Galactica" (#7).

Included among the half-year's top-100 individual primetime basic-cable telecasts are numerous editions of USA's "WWE Entertainment" (with each individual hour counting as one telecast) and episodes of USA's "The Starter Wife," "Burn Notice," "Monk," "Psych" and "House," plus the motion pictures "National Treasure" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." Bravo added telecasts of "Top Chef," including the finale, which ranks as basic cable's top reality-series telecast of the first half of the year (excludes "Planet Earth," not coded as a series by Nielsen).

The total of 67 top-100 telecasts for the NBC Universal Entertainment Cable Networks easily doubles any other cable group, with the 23 of the Discovery networks ranking #2.

In the second quarter of 2007, all three NBCU Entertainment Cable Networks delivered their biggest second-quarter primetime 18-49 and 25-54 audiences on record. USA averaged 1.188 million adults 18-49 and 1.170 million adults 25-54, SCI FI delivered 582,000 adults 18-49 and 659,000 adults 25-54 and BRAVO generated 282,000 adults 18-49 and 289,000 adults 25-54.

USA was the #1 network for the quarter in households, total viewers and all key demographics. It's the first time USA has moved ahead of NBA-boosted TNT to win the second quarter in 18-49 and 25-54 in seven years (since 2000).

USA was #1 among adults 25-54 on four out of the seven nights of the week for the second quarter. USA was #1 on Monday with "WWE Monday Night Raw," on Thursday with the television event "The Starter Wife" and the debuting series "Burn Notice," on Friday with such acquired movie titles as "National Treasure," "Sweet Home Alabama" and "The Pacifier" and on Saturday with a combination of "Law & Order: SVU" and acquired movies.

For the second quarter, SCI FI Channel ranked #5 among basic-cable networks in adult 25-54 primetime averages. SCI FI was up on all seven night of the week versus the second quarter of last year, while generating double-digit increases on six of seven nights in 18-49. SCI FI achieved overall increases versus last year of 22 percent in 25-54 and 25 percent in 18-49.

Bravo delivered its best second quarter ever in primetime 18-49 and 25-54 averages, with a 12 percent jump versus 2006 in 18-49 and an 11 percent increase in 25-54. It's the seventh consecutive quarter that Bravo has generated year-to-year gains in 18-49.

All second-quarter figures are for April 2-July 1, 2007 in "most current" data streams ("live plus seven days" through June 17 and "live plus same day" for June 18-July 1).

* Excludes Discovery's "Planet Earth," which was listed by Nielsen as a special with no uniform series title.
