POWER OF 10, the new fast-paced game show hosted by Drew Carey, debuted with 9.25 million viewers, a time period win in adults 18-34 and CBS's best delivery in key demographics in the time period since May, according to preliminary Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Tuesday, Aug. 7.
The 8:00-9:00 PM special preview of POWER OF TEN won its time slot in adults 18-34 (2.3/09), tied for first in households (6.1/11, with NBC), second in viewers (9.25m, -0.77m behind NBC), adults 25-54 (3.3/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/09). This is CBS's best delivery in the time period in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since the season finale of NCIS on 5/22/07.
POWER OF TEN posted double digit percentage increases at 8:30 PM with gains of +20% in adults 25-54 (3.6/10 from 3.0/10), +25% in adults 18-49 (3.0/09 from 2.4/08), +19% in adults 18-34 (2.5/09 from 2.1/08) while adding +1.02m viewers (9.76m from 8.74m, +12%).
POWER OF 10 premieres in its regular Wednesday (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) time period tonight.
BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY (4.7/08, 7.21m) was second in viewers, adults 25-54 (3.2/08), adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 18-34 (2.4/07). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/08), +4% in both adults 18-49 (from 2.8/08) and adults 18-34 (from 2.3/07), added +90,000 viewers (from 7.12m, +1%) and was even in households.
This is BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY's best delivery in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, matches the best delivery in both households and adults 18-49.
Final Tuesday ratings will be available this afternoon.

On last night's debut episode, Jamie Sadler, a 19-year-old pre-med student and part-time caddy from Montclair, N.J., became the youngest quiz/game show millionaire in network television history.
