Tuesday Editions of "Big Brother 8" and "Power of 10" Hit Season Highs

"Two and a Half Men" is Week's #1 Program in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS continued its summer winning streak, placing first in viewers for the 13th consecutive week, and taking the top spot in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 in the week ending Sept. 2, week 50 of the 2006-2007 television year.

CBS dominated the week, claiming the top seven programs, and nine of the Top 10, including TWO AND A HALF MEN, POWER OF TEN TUESDAY, CSI: MIAMI, CSI: NY, CRIMINAL MINDS, POWER OF 10, BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

Among first run programming, POWER OF 10 TUESDAY scored the best performance by any POWER OF 10 broadcast in viewers, adults 25-54 and matched its best adult 18-49 rating.

For the week in viewers, CBS (6.80m) topped FOX (4.38m), ABC (4.25m) and NBC (4.17m). Summer to date, CBS (6.89m) leads FOX (5.75m), NBC (5.57m) and ABC (4.69m).

For the week in demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (2.3/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06). For the summer, CBS is tied for first in adults 25-54 (with FOX, 2.4/07, each) and is second in adults 18-49 (1.9/06).

CBS's weekly highlights:

? POWER OF 10 TUESDAY was first in households (6.4/11), viewers (9.89m), adults 25-54 (3.5/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). This was the best performance by any POWER OF 10 broadcast in viewers, adults 25-54 and matched its best adult 18-49 rating. POWER OF 10 was Tuesday's #1 program in households and viewers, #2 in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (behind BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY).

? BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY was first in viewers (8.14m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09), adults 18-49 (3.2/09) and tied for first in households (5.2/08, with FOX) and adults 18-34 (2.2/07, with FOX). This is the best BIG BROTHER 8 delivery on any night in households, viewers and adults 25-54, matches the best delivery on any night in adults 18-49. BIG BROTHER 8 TUESDAY was Tuesday's #1 program in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, tied with "House" as the #1 program in adults 18-34 and was the #2 program, behind POWER OF 10 in households and viewers.

? On Wednesday, POWER OF 10 was first in households (5.4/10), viewers (8.34m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08), adults 18-49 (2.1/07) and adults 18-34 (1.5/05). POWER OF 10 posted increases at 8:30 PM with gains of +8% in both households (5.6/10 from 5.2/10) and adults 25-54 (2.7/08 from 2.5/08), +10% in adults 18-49 (2.2/07 from 2.0/07), +7% in adults 18-34 (1.5/05 from 1.4/05) while adding +750,000 viewers (8.72m from 7.97m, +9%).

? BIG BROTHER 8 THURSDAY was first in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.21m), adults 25-54 (2.7/08), adults 18-49 (2.4/08) and adults 18-34 (1.9/07). BIG BROTHER 8 THURSDAY was the night's #1 program in adults 18-34 and adults 18-49, tied with CSI: as the night's #1 program in adults 25-54.

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was the week's top program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
