NEW YORK � Oct. 8, 2007 � "NBC Sunday Night Football" featuring the Chicago Bears 27-20 victory over the Green Bay Packers earned a 12.3 overnight rating and 20 share (8:30-11:45 p.m., ET), a 19% jump over last season's Steelers-Chargers game (10.3/16 on 10/8/06).

� "NBC Sunday Night Football" was the No. 1 program of the night for the fourth time this season.

� Defeated ABC's "Desperate Housewives" by 12% (12.3 vs. 10.8).

� SNF powered NBC to a Sunday night victory.

� The rating peaked between 9:30 and 10 p.m. ET at a 13.1/20
