CBS AND "CSI" CONTINUE TO RULE THURSDAY

Network Wins Fourth Consecutive Thursday in Viewers and Adults 25-54

"CSI" Maintains Winning Streak Against "Grey's Anatomy"

"Survivor: China" Makes it Five Straight Time Period Wins in Viewers and Key Demos

The Premiere of "Viva Laughlin" Tops "Big Shots" in Viewers

CBS and "CSI" continue to rule Thursday this season, winning in viewers and adults 25-54 for the fourth consecutive week, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 18.

CSI was first in households (12.7/19), viewers (20.80m), adults 25-54 (8.0/18) and second in adults 18-49 (6.4/15). Compared to last week, CSI was up +2% in households (from 12.4/19), +5% in both adults 25-54 (from 7.6/17) and adults 18-49 (from 6.1/15) and added +1.01m viewers (from 19.79m, +5%)

CSI topped "Grey's Anatomy" for the fourth consecutive week in both households and viewers and for the second time in four broadcasts this season in adults 25-54. CSI was the night's #1 program in viewers for the fourth consecutive week and was tops for the night in adults 25-54.

SURVIVOR: CHINA was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.92m), adults 25-54 (5.4/14) and adults 18-49 (4.5/13). SURVIVOR topped "Ugly Betty" by +23% in households (vs. 6.9/11), +42% in adults 25-54 (vs. 3.8/10), +45% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.1/09) and by +4.25m viewers (vs. 9.67m, +44%). SURVIVOR topped the "My Name is Earl" and "30 Rock" by +98% in households (vs. 4.3/07), +69% in adults 25-54 (vs. 3.2/08), +67% in adults 18-49 (vs. 2.7/08) and by +7.15m (vs. 6.77m, +108%). SURVIVOR: CHINA has won its time period in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for five consecutive weeks.

VIVA LAUGHLIN PREVIEW (S) posed a 5.8/10 in households with 8.83million viewers, finishing +6% ahead of ABC's "Big Shots" in viewers (8.34m).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (14.52m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and a strong second in adults 18-49 (4.4/12, -0.1 behind ABC).
