HALLMARK CHANNEL RANKS #5 IN PRIME TIME FOR WEEK OF NOVEMBER 26 � THE NETWORK'S HIGHEST WEEK EVER
For the week of November 26 to December 2, Hallmark Channel ranked #5 in Prime Time with a 1.6 HH rating, #9 among W25-54 (0.7) and #10 among A25-54 (0.6), becoming the network's highest week ever. This performance is due in large part to the premiere of the channel's second of four original holiday movies "All I Want for Christmas," Saturday, December 1 (9-11 p.m., ET/PT), which delivered a 3.1 HH rating and over 2.5 million homes.
"All I Want for Christmas" ranked as the highest rated ad-supported cable movie of the day, second highest-rated cable movie of the week and second highest-rated telecast of the day and in the time period. Additionally, the original movie was seen by over 5.1 million unduplicated viewers (P2+) and ranked in the top 10 for key demo ratings and delivery. Hallmark Channel is the #1 destination for weekend Prime Time programming on ad-supported cable this holiday season (11/22-12/2/07) averaging a 2.4 HH rating.
This spectacular success comes on the heels of last week's stellar ratings led by the premiere of the first of Hallmark Channel's four original holiday movies this season, "A Grandpa for Christmas." This marks the second week the network ranked in the top 5 in Prime Time.
