February 28, 2008 (Burbank, CA) - The CW's hit series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL ranked second in the hour among the target demos of adults 18-34 (2.6/7), women 18-34 (3.9/10), women 18-49 (2.8/7), persons 12-34 (2.4/7), females 12-34 (3.5/10), behind only American Idol, according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008. TOP MODEL also remained highly competitive in adults 18-49 (2.0/5), trailing ABC and CBS by just a tenth of a rating point, and behind NBC by only two-tenths of a point.

TOP MODEL picked up steam last night, building over last week's premiere in adults 18-34 (4%), adults 18-49 (5%) and total viewers (3.9mil, up 1%).

The CW's new reality series GIRLICIOUS scored its best ratings to date (originals or encores) in adults 18-34 (1.3/4), women 18-34 (1.8/5), adults 18-49 (1.0/2), women 18-49 (1.4/3) and viewers (2.0mil). GIRLICIOUS posted week-to-week gains of 18% in adults 18-34, 25% in adults 18-49, 10% in viewers, 13% in women 18-34, 27% in women 18-49.

With its TOP MODEL lead-in, GIRLICIOUS ranked third in the hour among women 18-34 (1.8/5-tie), females 12-34 (1.7/5) and female teens (1.4/4).

Overall, The CW ranked second on Wednesday night in adults 18-34 (2.0/5-tie), women 18-34 (2.8/7), persons 12-34 (1.8/5-tie), and females 12-34 (2.6/7).

With TOP MODEL and GIRLICIOUS, The CW posted its best Wednesday since 12/12/07 with adults 18-34, adults 18-49 (1.5/4), women 18-49 (2.1/5) and viewers (2.9mil).
