48 HOURS MYSTERY (9:00-11:00 PM) was first in its time period in households (4.9/09), viewers (7.22m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06) according to Nielsen Fast National Data for Saturday, March 8. 48 HOURS MYSTERY was the night's #1 program in households.

48 HOURS MYSTERY: "LOVE AND DEATH IN THE WILD," was a special two-hour broadcast, with an exclusive interview with Mechele Linehan, described by her Olympia, Wash. neighbors as a pillar of the community. But to Alaskan authorities the physician's wife and PTA mom was a manipulative seductress who they suspected was responsible for the murder of a friend a decade earlier.
