41.7 Million Viewers Tune In to All-or-Part of Kansas' Overtime Win
CBS Sports' exclusive coverage of the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship Game on Monday, April 7 (9:15-11:54 PM, ET) scored in viewers as Nielsen Media Research estimates that 41.7 million viewers (Persons 2+) watched all-or-part of CBS Sports' coverage, an increase of +3% vs. 40.3 million in 2007 (Florida-Ohio State).
The 41.7 million viewers is the highest number of viewers to watch all-or- part of the Championship game in three years, when 45.6 million tuned in for the game between North Carolina and Illinois in 2005
CBS Sports' broadcast of the Championship Game earned an average fast national household rating/share of 12.1/20.
