Thursday's Total Drama Island and Friday's Star Wars: The Clone Wars Beat Their 2007 Time Periods by 60% to 100%

Powered by two new series premieres and a month of all-new Goosebumps episodes, Cartoon Network scored remarkable double-digit ratings and delivery gains over its October 2008 prime time performance across all its targeted kid demos compared to last year, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The network's Thursday night comedy franchise, Har Har Tharsdays (8-10 p.m.), and its Friday night line-up of action-adventure series (8-11 p.m.) each charted between 23% to 38% growth among key kids demos compared to the same 2007 time periods. Individual series Total Drama Island (Thursday, 9 p.m.) and Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Friday, 9 p.m.) served as the respective programming anchors each night, surpassing their 2007 time period performances anywhere from 60% to 100%. Sunday night's movie franchise FLICKS (7-9 p.m.) also contributed 32% to 35% ratings and delivery growth among kids 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14 vs. October 2007.

Overall, the October 2008 prime time performance resulted in Cartoon Network's best kids 6-11 delivery and ratings since October 2004, and its best kids 2-11 delivery and ratings since October 2005. Additionally, Cartoon Network's total day performance across October 2008 set new records with the best October delivery among kids 6-11 and best tweens 9-14 delivery and ratings in network history, growing from 6% to 8% compared to last year. Har Har Tharsdays this October featured all-new episodes of the spine-tingling comedy Goosebumps (Thursday, 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.), which earned solid double-digit growth over the 2007 time period among kids 6-11 (19% with ratings, 18% with delivery) and kids 2-11 (11% with ratings, 12% with delivery). Total Drama Island (9 p.m.) then followed with new episodes that garnered 72% ratings and 75% delivery growth among kids 6-11, and 64% ratings and 63% delivery growth among tweens 9-14.

Friday night prime time also witnessed major growth among Cartoon Network's key demos, with exclusive action-driven programming propelling kids 2-11 delivery and ratings growth by 34% and 30%, respectively. Kids 6-11 delivery and ratings gains surged ahead by 35% and 38%, respectively, while tweens 9-14 delivery jumped by 31% and ratings by 30%.

� Tweens 9-14 delivery (924,000) improved by 89%, and ratings (3.8) by 90%
