OXYGEN'S "BAD GIRLS CLUB" SEASON FINALE BECOMES CABLE'S NUMBER ONE TELECAST OF THE DAY AMONG W18-34

"Bad Girls Club" Achieves World Domination In The TweetOsphere

New York, NY - March 25, 2009 - Last night's telecast of the season finale of "Bad Girls Club" on Oxygen was the #1 telecast for the day among W18-34 among all cable networks. The series made network history and dominated the online space as "Bad Girls Club" became one of the top ten topics on Twitter against atypical competition during the presidential address. The episode was the series' most watched telecast among total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The series continues to experience successes online. "Bad Girls Club" was a trending topic on Twitter last night, meaning it was one of the top ten most Tweeted about themes in the world. Other trending items last night included "Biggest Loser," "Obama," and "Hall and Oates" (who performed on Dancing with the Stars). Fans turned out in droves to vote live during the finale on who they deemed "most real" all season. Tiffany won with a majority - 76% of the over 10,000 votes. And the website continues to see traffic increases, page views this season are well over 65 million, a 519% increase compared to season two.

Compared to the season average of "Bad Girls Club" season 2, season 3 is currently up 43% for P18-49 (709,000 vs. 496,000), 43% for F18-49 (525,000 vs. 366,000), 53% for F18-34 (394,000 vs. 257,000), and 45% for total viewers (990,000 vs. 681,000).

Oxygen is pacing for its best quarter ever online and on-air in Q12009, due in large part to the success of "Bad Girls Club." The ladies reunite for one final fling in a reunion special hosted by gossip-maven Perez Hilton next Tuesday, March 31 at 10pm ET/PT.
