USA PACES TOWARDS 12TH CONSECUTIVE QUARTER WIN

USA's New Original Series ROYAL PAINS #1 New Show

NEW YORK, NEW YORK � June 22, 2009 � USA Network crushes the competition in year to date ratings in P25-54 (1.5 million, +23% over #2 TNT), P18-49 (1.4 million, +20% over #2 TNT) and in total viewers (3.2 million, +33% over #2 TNT). USA's averages for the first half of 2009 are the best ever for a cable network in all three demos.

For 2Q09, USA is pacing once again toward the highest ever 2nd quarter delivery of P25-54 and total viewers for a cable entertainment network, following its delivery of the best 4th quarter ever in 4Q08 and the best 1st quarter ever in 1Q09. This continues USA's unprecedented streak with 12 consecutive quarterly wins among P25-54 and total viewers. *

For the fourth year in a row, USA can claim the top-rated new cable show of the year (to date) with its new original series ROYAL PAINS, following PSYCH in 2006, BURN NOTICE in 2007 and IN PLAIN SIGHT in 2008.

ROYAL PAINS is fast establishing itself as a runaway hit this year, growing its viewership every week it has been on the air. In just three weeks ROYAL PAINS has grown +18% in P25-54, +23% in P18-49, +31% in P18-34, +17% in total viewers and +10% in households. Last week's delivery of 6.5 million live+same viewers was the 3rd best original series total viewers result ever for USA Network.

USA also continues its dominance over broadcast by outperforming the CW in primetime, delivering +53% more P25-54, +31% more P18-49 and +68% more total viewers (year to date).

USA has five of top six scripted original series on cable P25-54 (to date) with #1 BURN NOTICE, #2 ROYAL PAINS, #4 MONK, #5 PSYCH and #6 IN PLAIN SIGHT. USA has four of top five P18-49 with #1 BURN NOTICE, #2 ROYAL PAINS, #4 PSYCH and #5 MONK.
