Series Scores Double-Digit Gains Over Season 2 Premiere

New York, NY � September 10, 2009 � Last night, the return of Destination Truth paired with an all-new episode of Ghost Hunters resulted in a triumphant night for Syfy's successful reality duo. Destination Truth, hosted by fearless adventurer Josh Gates, opened its 3rd season with a record-smashing debut episode at 10pm, delivering a 1.5 Household rating, 1.2 million Adults 18-49, 1.3 million Adults 25-54 and 2.1 million total viewers.

At 9pm, Ghost Hunters delivered a 1.9 Household rating, 1.5 million Adults 18-49, 1.6 million Adults 25-54 and 2.6 million total viewers, making Syfy the #1 cable network in the 9pm hour among Adults 18-49.

In 8-11pm prime, Syfy was the #2 cable network among Adults 18-49

Destination Truth achieved series highs on all four of the aforementioned measures

Compared to the season 2 premiere on 3/5/08, this is up +7% in Household rating, +20% in Adults 18-49, +26% in Adults 25-54 and +25% in total viewers.

This is the first episode of Destination Truth to deliver over 2.0 million total viewers.

Destination Truth was the #8 entertainment program on cable among Adults 25-54.

Next week, the Ghost Hunters head to New Jersey to investigate disturbances at the Union County Courthouse and a private home in New Hampshire. Then, Josh and crew spend a night on an island overrun by allegedly haunted dolls, then dive headfirst into the dark waters of the Bahamas in search of one of the area's most infamous legends.
