STORM CHASERS Season Finale Blows Em' Away!

Key Demos Feasting on Hit Series as STORM CHASERS Ranks #1 Among in Ad-Supported Cable M25-54 And 18-49

The Sunday November 29, 2009 10 PM E/P season finale of STORM CHASERS posted a 1.17 HH, 1.07 P25-54 and 0.99 P18-49. The whirl of viewers propelled STORM CHASERS to #1 on ad-supported cable among M25-54 (731K) and M18-49 (731K).

On the strength of the season finale of STORM CHASERS, Discovery Channel was the #2 primetime cable network on Sunday, November 29 among M25-54 (551K).

Both premieres of STORM CHASERS posted double-digit audience gains versus the November 2008 time slot for P2+ (9P: +17% to 1611K, 10P: +16% to 1734K) and most key demos.

The new STORM CHASERS episode airing at 9 PM E/P was the #3 telecast of the night on ad-supported cable among M25-54 (649K) blowing away competitors Sunday night with a 1.12HH, 0.93 P25-54 and 0.83 P18-49.

Thanksgiving was truly a feast for Discovery Channel beginning on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, with the 9PM premiere telecast of MYTHBUSTERS ranking as the #1 primetime cable telecast among M25-54 (1.64 AA%) and M18-49 (1.63) in delivery and ratings.

MYTHBUSTERS was also the #3 primetime cable telecast among P25-54 (1214K) in delivery. The 10PM telecast of MYTHBUSTERS was the #2 primetime cable program for the evening among M18-49 (626K) delivery. The 9PM telecast of MYTHBUSTERS beat several networks in terms of primetime program delivery among M18-49, including: FOX's So You Think You Can Dance, ABC's The Middle, NBC's Jay Leno. and ABC's Modern Family.

Marathons of MYTHBUSTERS on Thursday, November 26, DEADLIEST CATCH on Friday, November 27, DIRTY JOBS on Saturday, November 28 and STORM CHASERS on Sunday, November 29 all posted gains among P25-54 versus November 2008.
