NEW YORKDec. 2, 2009Nickelodeon closes November as basic cable's number-one network in total day with all key demos (kids 2-11, kids 6-11, tweens 9-14 and total viewers), scoring the top programs with K2-11 (SpongeBob SquarePants and Fanboy and Chum Chum) and basic cable's top two entertainment telecasts for the month--behind only ESPN's Monday Night Football. According to Nielsen Media Research (10/26/09-12/2/09), Nickelodeon averaged 2.2 million total viewers, a 3.6/1.3 million K2-11, a 3.1/669,000 K6-11 and 2.2/480,000 T9-14 in November.

For November, SpongeBob was the number-one animated series with K2-11 and K6-11 on broadcast and basic cable, while Fanboy and Chum Chum ranked number-two among K2-11 animated series. iCarly also scored cable's top live-action telecast among all kids' programs with total viewers.

SpongeBob SquarePantsthe number-one animated show among K2-11 for the past seven consecutive yearsscored November's top two entertainment telecasts on basic cable across key demos (K2-11, K6-11 and kids' programs with P2+) with its "Truth or Square" specials (Nov. 6, 8 p.m. [all times ET/PT] and Nov. 7, 9:30 a.m.). SpongeBob SquarePants also placed six out of the top 10 kids' telecasts among total viewers and seven out of the top 10 telecasts with K2-11 in November.

Fanboy and Chum Chumwhich set new records in its debut (Nov. 6, 9 p.m.) as Nick's highest-rated and most-watched series' premiere with K2-11 and K6-11followed SpongeBob "Truth or Square" as broadcast and basic cable's top telecast with K2-11, K6-11, and as the top kids' program with total viewers. The series is averaging a 4.1 million P2+, a 7.6/1.6 million K6-11 (+46% over last year) and a 7.2/2.5 million K2-11 (+38%), and currently ranks as the number-one series among K2-11 quarter to date.

iCarlyyear to date's number-one series with K2-11continued connecting with viewers in November with "iMove Out" (Nov. 28, 8 p.m. ET/PT), which ranks as broadcast and basic cable's top live-action kids' telecast for the month with 5.7 million total viewers. "iMove Out" also placed first for the month with K6-11 (11.4/2.4 million), T9-14 (10.0/2.2 million) and K2-11 (8.9/3.1 million).
