HGTV Starts Year Off with Best January Ratings Ever
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. [For Immediate Release - February 2, 2010] HGTV's January 2010 delivered the highest ever January prime time rating (M-Su 8P-11P) among Households (HHs) with a 1.1 -- a 22% increase over January 2009 for prime time as reported by Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, the network's prime time rating for W18+ reached a 0.9, while the prime time rating among M18+ were the highest ever in the history of the network with a 0.4.
Overall, the network's HH impressions increased by 16% over January 2009, with impressions for key demos P25-54 and W25-54 increasing by 13% and 7%, respectively, over January 2009 levels.
