CBS's "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN" UP IN ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54 VERSUS SEASON AVERAGE OPPOSITE
OLYMPIC-PROMOTED RETURN OF JAY LENO
CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN posted increases in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 compared to its first-run season average opposite the highly promoted return of Jay Leno to "The Tonight Show," according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Monday, March 1.
LATE SHOW posted a 2.8/08 with 3.84m viewers, 1.5 in adults 25-54, 1.1 in adults 18-49 and 0.7 in adults 18-34. Compared to the program's live plus same day season-to-date first-run average, LATE SHOW on Monday was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 1.4), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 1.0) and matched its adults 18-34 delivery.
