First Three Months of 2010 Mark Best Quarter Ever for Lifetime Movie Network

FIRST THREE MONTHS OF 2010 MARK BEST QUARTER EVER FOR LIFETIME MOVIE NETWORK

1Q 2010 is Network's Most Watched Quarter in All Key Demos; Channel Finishes Quarter in Top Ten of all Ad-Supported Cable Networks in Primetime among Women 18+

LOS ANGELES (March 31, 2010) - Continuing to build on its most-watched year ever in 2009, Lifetime Movie Network, television's second highest rated women's channel, has just wrapped its best quarter in its 12 year history. Supported by such popular original movies as Amish Grace and Sins of the Mother, the first three months of 2010 mark Lifetime Movie Network's most watched quarter ever in primetime among Women 18-49 (180,000), Women 25-54 (211,000), Women 18-34 (57,000), Women 18+ (492,000), Adults 18-49 (246,000), Adults 25-54 (292,000), Adults 18-34 (75,000), Total Viewers (742,000) and Households (578,000). Lifetime Movie Network finished 1Q'10 as the ninth highest rated ad-supported cable network in primetime among W18+, according to Nielsen Media.

In addition, this month has registered as Lifetime Movie Network's most watched March in primetime among Women 18-49 (184,000), Women 25-54 (214,000), Women 18-34 (58,000), Women 18+ (523,000), Adults 18-49 (251,000), Adults 25-54 (294,000), Adults 18-34 (78,000), Total Viewers (777,000) and Households (606,000). Among Women 18+, the network was the month's sixth highest-rated ad-supported cable network in primetime.

Regarding the announcement, JoAnn Alfano, Executive Vice President, Entertainment, of Lifetime Networks, said, "These numbers are fantastic. Highlights of Lifetime Movie Network's record setting quarter include last Sunday's world premiere of Amish Grace, which was the number one rated and most watched Lifetime Movie Network Original Movie premiere in the network's history among Women 25-54, Women 18+, Adults 18+, Adults 25-54, Total Viewers and Households. The film, starring Kimberly Williams-Paisley, was also the second highest rated movie on ad-supported cable in 1Q'10 among Women 25-54, Women 18+, Total Viewers, Adults 18+, Adults 25-54 and Households, behind only Lifetime Television's The Pregnancy Pact.

In February, the network debuted Sins of the Mother, featuring Jill Scott, its highest rated and most watched original movie among African Americans across Households, Women 18-49, Women 25-54, Women 18+, Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54, Total Viewers and Adults 18+. Moreover, the movie was the number three rated movie on ad-supported cable in 1Q'10 among Women 18+.

Lifetime Television and Lifetime Movie Network continue to be the two highest rated ad-supported cable networks for original movie premieres. Lifetime's 2010-to-date original movies are currently averaging a 2.6 Women 18-49 rating, up 100% from the full 2009 Lifetime Original Movie average (1.3); while 2010-to-date Lifetime Movie Network's original movies are up 89% vs. last year among Women 18-49 (1.7 vs. 0.9). The premieres of The Pregnancy Pact and Amish Grace were the number one and number two rated and most watched movies on basic cable in 1Q'10 among Households. The top six rated movies on ad-supported cable during the quarter among Women 18+ aired on one or the other network, including The Pregnancy Pact and Who Is Clark Rockefeller? (Lifetime), and Sins of the Mother and Amish Grace. The top five most watched original films on ad-supported cable in 1Q'10 among Women 18+ were The Pregnancy Pact, Amish Grace and Who Is Clark Rockefeller? The top three rated and most watched movies on ad-supported cable in the quarter among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 were either Lifetime or Lifetime Movie Network Original Movies, while among Women 25-54, seven of the top ten rated and most watched movies on basic cable in 1Q'10 aired on one of the two networks.
