DISCOVERY CHANNEL'S DEADLIEST CATCH IS #1 ON TUESDAY NIGHT FOR EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
On the strength of back-to-back episodes of DEADLIEST CATCH on Tuesday, June 1, Discovery Channel was the #1 network in delivery among all cable during prime, among P/M25-54 and P/M18-49. Discovery was the #2 network in all of cable Tuesday evening among W25-54; it was #3 among HH, P2+ and W18-49.
The 9PM premiere episode of DEADLIEST CATCH earned a 2.42 HH / 2.07 P25-54 AA%, making it the #1 primetime cable program (no exclusions) for P/M/W25-54, P/M18-49, P2+ and P18+ delivery. The episode surpassed several broadcast telecasts on Tuesday night, bringing in more viewers in key demos than CBS and NBC. The 10PM repeat telecast of DEADLIEST CATCH also ranked in the top 10 for delivery among key demos on Tuesday: M25-54 (#3), P25-54 (#4), M18-49 (#6), P18-49 (#7) and W25-54 (#10).
DEADLIEST CATCH has now been the #1 non-sports program in primetime cable for eight consecutive Tuesdays among P/M25-54 delivery, since the season premiered on April 13.
