Excluding the NBA Finals-led Broadcast in June, "JKL's" Thursday Telecast Draws the Program's Largest Young Adult Audience on the Night Since January

During the week of September 20, 2010, premiere week of the 2010-11 Season, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" drew its largest audience (1.69 million) and its highest Adult 18-49 number (733,000) in over 3 months - since the week of 6/14/10.

· "Jimmy Kimmel Live" outdelivered the premiere week performance of CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" among Adults 18-34 (+23% - 288,000 vs. 234,000) and Adults 18-49 (+12% - 733,000 vs. 653,000), representing the 5th time in the last 6 years that "JKL" bested the CBS program during premiere week in the key Adult demos.

· "JKL" outdrew NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in Total Viewers on 3 of 5 nights during premiere week: Monday - 1.86 million vs. 1.78 million; Tuesday - 1.88 million vs. 1.84 million; Thursday - 1.79 million vs. 1.65 million.

· Excluding the NBA Finals-led broadcast in June, "JKL's" Thursday telecast (9/23/10) attracted the ABC late-night program's largest Adults 18-49 (959,000) audience on the night since January - since 1/7/10.

Ratings Report for ABC News' "Nightline" For the Week of September 20, 2010

ABC NEWS' "NIGHTLINE" GROWS 18% AMONG A25-54, 15% AMONG A18-49, AND +9% AMONG TOTAL VIEWERS WEEK-TO-WEEK

ABC News "Nightline" placed second among Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 for the week of September 20, 2010, outperforming NBC's "The Tonight Show" among A25-54 according to Nielsen Media Research. For the week, "Nightline" posted its best demo number since June and best total viewer delivery since May.

For the week, "Nightline" averaged 1.56 million viewers (1.3 rating) among A25-54, growing +18% compared to the previous week."Nightline" averaged 1.25 million viewers (1.0 rating) among A18-49, growing +15% week to week. Among Total Viewers, "Nightline" grew +9% week-to-week while "The Tonight Show" declined -3%.

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and Bill Weir. John Donvan and Vicki Mabrey are correspondents. James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
