NBC LATE-NIGHT RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 25-29

IN ADULTS 18-34, 'TONIGHT' OUT-RATES 'LATE SHOW,' 'NIGHTLINE' AND 'KIMMEL'; JUMPS 48 PERCENT ABOVE ITS YEAR-AGO TOTAL-VIEWER AVERAGE

JIMMY FALLON DELIVERS BIGGER AUDIENCES THAN 'LATE LATE SHOW' IN 18-49, 18-34 AND OTHER KEY DEMOS; GROWS BY 26 PERCENT VERSUS THE SAME WEEK LAST YEAR IN TOTAL VIEWERS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. � November 4, 2010 � NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has averaged a 0.9 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers overall for the week of October 25-29. In adults 18-34, "Tonight" out-rated CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for the week, posting a 0.7 rating in 18-34 versus "Late Show's" 0.6, "Nightline's" 0.6 and "Kimmel's" 0.4.

Versus the same week last year, "Tonight" grew by 48 percent in total viewers (3.6 million vs. 2.4 million) and cut the margin for "Late Show" to 6 percent versus a 64 percent margin for "Late Show" one year ago.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" delivered bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and ABC's "Kimmel" in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key categories.

Versus the same week last year, Jimmy Fallon is up 26 percent in total viewers (1.7 million vs. 1.3 million) and has reduced the margin for "Late Late Show" to 8 percent versus its 39 percent lead for the same week last year. In adult 18-49 viewers, Jimmy Fallon reversed the order for the same week last year, topping "Late Late Show" by a 6 percent margin last week while "Late Late Show" led by 2 percent one year ago.

Through the first six weeks of the 2010-11 season, "Tonight" is leading "Late Show" by a 3 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (1.228 million vs. 1.194 million), reversing the order at this point one year ago, when "Late Show" held a 5 percent lead (1.409 million vs. 1.348 million). In total viewers, "Tonight" leads "Late Show" through six weeks of the season by a 2 percent margin (3.642 million vs. 3.574 million), reversing the order of one year ago, when "Late Show" led by a 73 percent advantage (4.363 million vs. 2.522 million).

Through the first six weeks of the 2010-11 season, Jimmy Fallon is leading "Late Late Show" by a 12 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (767,000 vs. 687,000), building on his lead of one year ago that stood at 1 percent (809,000 vs. 800,000). In total viewers, Jimmy has cut the year-ago "Late Late Show" lead down to 6 percent (1.778 million vs. 1.676 million) from its year-ago 40 percent (1.957 million vs. 1.401 million).

Versus the first six weeks of last season, "Tonight" is running within 9 percent of its year-ago 18-49 viewership (1.228 million vs. 1.348 million) while "Late Show" is down 15 percent (1.194 million vs. 1.409 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is matching his year-ago 0.6 rating in adults 18-49 and running within 5 percent of last year in 18-49 viewers (767,000 vs. 809,000) while "Late Late Show" is down 14 percent (687,000 vs. 800,000).

In total viewers, "Tonight" is up 44 percent versus its average viewership for the first six weeks of last season (3.642 million vs. 2.522 million) while "Late Show" is down 18 percent (3.574 million vs. 4.363 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 20 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.676 million vs. 1.401 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 9 percent (1.778 million vs. 1.957 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" is up through the first six weeks of the season by 5 percent in 18-49 viewers (473,000 vs. 451,000) and up 19 percent in total viewers (945,000 vs. 795,000).
