TLC STARTS SUMMER STRONG WITH "MY BIG FAT GYPSY WEDDING"

Back-to-Back Episodes Watched By More Than Two Million Viewers; Ranking TLC #1 On Sunday Night

TLC Summer scores big ratings with a double-stacked sneak peek of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding (Sun, 9 and 10 p.m. ET/PT). The two-hour premiere delivered 2.2M P2+ viewers, earning the #1 slot for the night for all ad-supported cable among W25-54, P/W18-49, W18-34 and ranking TLC as the #1 ad-supported cable network among all key women demos (W25-54, W18-49 and W18-34).

The 10 p.m. premiere generated 2.3M P2+ viewers and the 9 p.m. 2.1M, scoring TLC the #1 and #2 telecasts for Sunday night for all ad-supported cable among W25-54, P/W18-49 and W18-34.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding also posted double to triple-digit gains vs. the network's 2011-to-date prime premiere average and the 2011-to-date prime average among all key demos.

The UK Premiere of Big Fat Gypsy Weddings became Channel 4's highest rated documentary series of all time, averaging more than 9 million viewers.

TLC Summer is the destination for the hottest series and specials on TV with an estimated 150 hours of all-new programming, including fan favorites Cake Boss, 19 Kids and Counting, The Little Couple and Toddlers and Tiaras. TLC also looks to turn up the heat index with Ami James returning in his series NY Ink and 'achy breaky' country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus hosting Surprise Homecoming. New episodes of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding air Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT beginning June 3.
