UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 28, 2011 - With "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" accounting for the week's top five telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, NBC has won the primetime week of June 20-26 in adults 18-49 and total viewers, averaging a 1.8 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

It's the second week in a row NBC has led in adults 18-49 and total viewers, marking the first time since the weeks of September 7-13 and September 14-20, 2010 that NBC has won both 18-49 and total viewers two weeks in a row.

NBC ranked #1 this week among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key demographic measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- including a tie for #1 with Fox in men 18-34. NBC won four nights this week in adults 18-49 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Versus the same week last year, NBC was up by double-digit percentage in every key ratings category, including gains of 20 percent in both adults 18-49 (with a 1.8 rating vs. a 1.5) and total viewers (6.2 million vs. 5.1 million).

NBC programmed the top five shows of the week on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in both adults 18-49 and total viewers. The Tuesday edition of "The Voice" was the #1 program of the week in adults 18-49, followed by the Wednesday telecast of "America's Got Talent," the Tuesday "Talent," the Wednesday "Voice" results show and a Wednesday 10:16 p.m. ET encore of "Talent."

In total viewers, the Wednesday edition of "America's Got Talent" was #1 for the week, followed by the Tuesday "Talent," the Tuesday "Voice," the Wednesday "Talent" encore and the Wednesday "Voice."

"The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" combined to account for at least the top three telecasts of the week in every key ratings category.

Primetime averages for the week of June 20-26 in adults 18-49 were NBC (1.8/6), Fox (1.4/5), ABC (1.3/4), CBS (1.1/3) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were NBC (6.2 million), CBS (5.9 million), ABC (4.7 million), Fox (3.8 million) and CW (0.8 million).

NBC highlights for the week of June 20-26:

* On Monday, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" scored NBC's top 18-49 rating in the 8-9 p.m. ET time period, excluding sports, since February 28 and the network's biggest overall viewership in the slot since December 20.

* On Tuesday, "America's Got Talent" won the 8-9 p.m. ET time period against all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, total viewers and all other key demographics, against competition that included ABC's summer premiere of "Wipeout" and Fox's "Master Chef."

* From its first half-hour to its second, "America's Got Talent" grew by 16 percent in adults 18-49 and by 14 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers.

* Also on Tuesday, "The Voice," was the #1 program of the night in adults 18-49, winning its time period in all key ratings categories against all broadcast and cable competition.

* The 4.4 rating in adults 18-49 achieved by "The Voice" on Tuesday was higher than the 18-49 rating of every non-sports telecast to air last summer on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, with the sole exception of the "Glee" finale, which delivered a 4.7 rating on June 8, 2010.

* NBC dominated all six half-hours of primetime Tuesday in adults 18-49 and total viewers. Together, "Talent" and "The Voice" propelled NBC to a #1 finish in primetime Tuesday in all key measures, including adults 18-34, adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers.

* On Wednesday, "America's Got Talent" scored the highest 18-49 rating for a non-finale Wednesday edition of the show in nearly five years, since July 2006, during the show's first season.

* "America's Got Talent" was the #1 telecast of the night Wednesday in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. "Talent" dominated its time period, winning in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key demos.

* Also on Wednesday, the first Wednesday results show of "The Voice" won its time period versus all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.

* "The Voice grew solidly throughout its time period, starting with a 2.7 rating in 18-49 for the 8:16-8:30 p.m. ET segment that immediately followed the news preemption for coverage of that night's Presidential address, then increasing that rating by 41 percent to a 3.8 for the 9-9:16 p.m. segment.

* NBC ranked #1 in primetime Wednesday night versus all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and virtually all other key measures. NBC dominated all six half-hours of primetime in adults 18-49 and total viewers. This marked NBC's third consecutive Wednesday win in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

* NBC won Friday night in adults 18-49 and other key categories, as "Dateline NBC" reported the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demos.

* On Sunday, "The Marriage Ref" won the 10 p.m. ET hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics and matched the encore competition on ABC and CBS combined in adults 18-49.

* Also on Sunday, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" won its time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers.

* NBC ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox Sunday night in adults 18-49, marking the network's second straight Sunday win in primetime's key demo.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of June 20-26

On Monday, June 20 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.7 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's top 18-49 rating in this time period, excluding sports, since February 28. In total viewers, it was NBC's biggest overall audience in the slot since December 20. In the time period, "Talent" ranked #2 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 and #1 in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

Monday at 9 p.m. ET, "Law & Order; Criminal Intent" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) locked up its top 18-49 and total-viewer results in its three weeks in this time period so far this summer.

Monday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Law & Order; LA" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and most other key measures.

On Tuesday, June 21 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.4/11 in 18-49, 12.3 million viewers overall) won its time period against all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, total viewers and all other key demographics against competition that included ABC's summer premiere of "Wipeout" and Fox's "Master Chef."

"America's Got Talent" was the #1 program of the night in total viewers.

From its first half-hour to its second, "America's Got Talent" grew by 16 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.6 from a 3.1) and by 14 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers (13.1 million vs. 11.5 million).

Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "America's Got Talent" was up 127 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 3.4 rating vs. a 1.5, "live plus same day," non-sports) and up 137 percent in total viewers (12.3 million vs. 5.2 million).

Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Voice" averaged a 4.4/12 in adults 18-49 and 12.1 million viewers overall. This 4.4 rating achieved by "The Voice" is higher than the 18-49 rating of every non-sports telecast to air last summer on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, with the sole exception of the "Glee" finale, which delivered a 4.7 rating on June 8, 2010.

"The Voice" was the #1 program of the night in adults 18-49, winning its time period in all key ratings categories against all broadcast and cable competition. Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "The Voice" was up 47 percent in 18-49 rating (4.4 vs. 3.0, "live plus same day," non-sports).

NBC dominated all six half-hours of primetime Tuesday in adults 18-49 and total viewers. Together "Talent" and "The Voice" propelled NBC to a #1 finish in primetime in all key ratings categories versus all broadcast and cable competition, including adults 18-34, adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers.

On Wednesday, June 22, from 8:16-9:16 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.3/11 in adults 18-49, 10.0 million viewers overall) won the time period versus all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.

"The Voice grew consistently throughout its time period, starting with a 2.7 rating in 18-49 for the 8:16-8:30 p.m. segment that immediately followed the news preemption for coverage of that night's Presidential address, then increasing that rating by 41 percent to a 3.8 for the 9-9:16 p.m. segment. In that same comparison, total viewers increased by 37 percent or more than 3.1 million persons (to 11.8 million from 8.6 million).

The 3.3 rating in adults 18-49 achieved by "The Voice" results show tops every non-sports primetime telecast on ABC, CBS or Fox over the prior three weeks. It is worth noting that NBC's averages last summer in the Wednesday 8-9 p.m. ET hour were a 1.9 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.895 million viewers overall. The last time NBC achieved a 3.3 rating or better in the Wednesday 8-9 p.m. time period with non-sports programming was February 25, 2009.

Wednesday from 9:16-10:16 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.9/11 in 18-49, 13.5 million viewers overall) scored the highest 18-49 rating for a non-finale Wednesday edition of "Talent" in nearly five years, since July 5, 2006, during the show's first season.

"America's Got Talent" was the #1 telecast of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. "Talent" dominated its time period, winning in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key demos.

An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" was joined in progress at 10:16 p.m. ET and ran to 11 p.m., averaging a 2.9/8 in 18-49 and 10.7 million viewers overall. The 10:16 p.m. rebroadcast of "Talent" dominated the ABC-CBS competition in the time period in all key ratings categories.

NBC ranked #1 in primetime Wednesday night versus all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and virtually all other key measures. This marked NBC's third consecutive Wednesday win in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

On Thursday, June 23 at 8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Community" delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall. Versus the prior week, "Community" is up 33 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.6).

Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "30 Rock" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall. Week to week, "30 Rock" grew by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.7 from a 0.6).

From 9-9:31 p.m. ET Thursday night, an encore telecast of "The Office" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 43 percent in 18-49 rating and 23 percent in total viewers.

Thursday from 9:31-10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast "Parks and Recreation" delivered a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.

At 10 p.m. ET Thursday, "Love Bites" averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall.

On Friday, June 24 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall. In the hour, "Friday Night Lights" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) reported the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. "Dateline" won its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demographics.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 50 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.0) and by 39 percent or 1.7 million persons in total viewers (6.2 million vs. 4.5 million).

NBC is #1 Friday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

On Saturday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Minute To Win It" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in adults 18-49 and other key categories.

Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall) finished #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #2 or tied for #2 in all other key categories. From its first half-hour to its second, "CI" grew in all key ratings categories, including increases of 33 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.6) and 25 percent in total viewers (3.8 million vs. 3.0 million).

At 10 p.m. ET Saturday, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: LA" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.

On Sunday, June 26, from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. In the time period, "Dateline" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 in women 18-34. "Dateline" matched its highest Sunday 18-49 rating of the summer to date.

Sunday from 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) scored the show's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results so far this summer for a Sunday encore. In the time period, "Dateline" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers.

At 10 p.m. ET Sunday, the second season premiere of "The Marriage Ref" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demographics -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. "The Marriage Ref" topped the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults, men and women 18-34 and equaled those encore dramas combined in adults, men and women 18-49. In adults 18-49, the "Marriage Ref" margin of victory for the hour was 70 percent (1.7 vs. 1.0 for CBS's second-place "CSI: Miami" encore).

NBC was #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and other key categories. It's NBC's second straight Sunday win in 18-49.
