Season 7 Premiere of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" Posts Its Second Highest Season Premiere Ever in Total Viewers

It's (still) Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Last night's season 7 premiere episode of Sunny was its second highest season premiere ever in Total Viewers, up +3% year to year (2,275,000 vs. 2,218,000). This was driven by an influx in women, as all three key women demos notched gains year to year: W18-34, +25% (552,000 vs. 441,000); W18-49, +14% (675,000 vs. 591,000); and W25-54, +2% (456,000 vs. 445,000). Sunny's Adults 18-49 delivery was off slightly year to year, -5% (1,749,000 vs. 1,834,000), but it will likely turn into a year-over-year increase when Live+7 DVR data becomes available.

The first episode of a special three-week run of Archer gained +35% in P18-34 over its season 2 premiere (658,000 vs. 489,000), driven more by W18-34 (+78%) than M18-34 (+18%).
