Season One of Docu-Series "Big Rich Texas" Becomes Second Most-Watched New Series, After "Tia & Tamera"

LOS ANGELES - October 4, 2011 - The record-breaking new season of "Tia & Tamera" concluded on Monday at 9:00pm ET/PT with an impressive finish, becoming The Style Network's most-watched original series ever across all key demos, including Adults 18-49 (470,000), Women 18-49 (395,000) and Total Viewers (710,000), according to Nielsen. Building upon its record breaking premiere, the season finale of "Tia & Tamera" posted double digit gains, increasing a significant +32% among the target demo Women 18-49 (473,000) and +19% among Adults 18-49 (516,000) while drawing 775,000 total viewers. The series takes viewers inside the lives of the twin sisters and best friends as Tia Mowry Hardrict becomes a first-time mother with the birth of new son Cree featured in Monday's finale, and Tamera Mowry-Housley adjusts to life as a newlywed after preparing for her wedding.

Additionally, the freshman season finale of "Big Rich Texas" on Sunday at 9:00pm ET/PT delivered extraordinary gains over the series premiere, wrangling +84% with Women 18-49 (215,000) and +74% with Total Viewers (397,000). The new series which focuses on the competitive and privileged lives of five mothers and daughters, ranks as Style's second most-watched first season ever, after "Tia & Tamera," across all key demos, including Adults 18-49 (258,000), Women 18-49 (206,000) and Total Viewers (380,000). Besides delivering significant growth, "Big Rich Texas" more than doubled the year ago time period average across all key metrics, including Adults 18-49 (258,000), Women 18-49 (206,000) and Total Viewers (380,000) while it also out-performed Style's 3Q11 primetime average by +96% among the key female demo.
