L+7 Ratings: ABC's Modern Family is the Biggest Time-Shifted Gainer Two Weeks in a Row

Live+7 Day Ratings for the week of 9/26/11 (Week #2):

Based on Nielsen's DVR playback data for the week, ABC's Modern Family registered as the biggest gainer via time-shifted viewing in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 for the 2nd week running, picking up an additional 4.46 million viewers and 2.2 rating points from its originally reported Live + Same Day numbers. In fact, ABC claimed 2 of the Top 3 biggest gainers among Adults 18-49 with Modern Family and Grey's Anatomy.

· A total of 8 of ABC's series gained 2.0 million viewers or more on average from their initially reported totals via time-shifted viewing, including the week's biggest overall gainer: Modern Family (+4.46 million), Castle (+3.14 million), Grey's Anatomy (+2.95 million), Revenge (+2.59 million), Body of Proof (+2.53 million), Desperate Housewives (+2.27 million), Private Practice (+2.21 million) and Pan Am (+2.20 million).

· Among Adults 18-49, ABC saw 6 series add on at least one full rating point to their first-reported numbers: Modern Family - top gainer overall (+2.2 rating - 5.7 to 7.9), Grey's Anatomy - biggest drama gainer (+1.5 rating - 3.6 to 5.1), Castle (+1.1 rating - 2.8 to 3.9), Desperate Housewives (+1.1 rating - 3.0 to 4.1), Private Practice (+1.0 rating - 2.8 to 3.8) and Revenge (+1.0 rating - 2.7 to 3.7).
