CBS MONDAY COMEDIES: TELEVISION'S FASTEST GROWING TWO-HOUR COMEDY BLOCK AMONG ADULTS 18-34

CBS Monday Comedies Surge Past ABC and NBC Comedy Blocks Among Younger Viewers

CBS's four Monday comedies comprise television's fastest growing two-hour comedy block among adults 18-34, according to Nielsen most current ratings through the week ending Oct.16.

Compared to last season, CBS's Monday block is up +48% in adults 18-34 (4.9/13 from 3.3/09) while ABC's two-hour Wednesday lineup is up +9% (3.7/11 from 3.4/10) and NBC's Thursday block is down -22% (3.2/10 from 4.1/12). This surge has moved CBS's Monday comedy block from third to first versus these competing comedy nights.

All four of CBS's Monday comedies are posting significant year-to-year increases among adults 18-34.
