Network Wins Week With +30% Margin of Victory

FOX originals returned in full force after the Thanksgiving holiday and gave the network a dominant weekly win among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. With ratings gains across every single one of its entertainment programs last week, FOX outperformed its next highest rated competitor by +30% in the core adult demo. In addition, FOX had:

TERRA NOVA posted a 2.2/6, up +5% from the previous week among Adults 18-49 (11/21/11, 2.1/6) and up +11% in Total Viewers (7.2 vs. 6.5 Mil).

HOUSE at 9p delivered a 2.6/6 in Adults 18-49, up +4% from the previous week's telecast (11/21/11, 2.5/6). In the 9pm hour, HOUSE ranked #2 in Adults 18-49 and #1 in Adults 18-34 (tie) and all key male demos.

FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and won the night among Teens and all key male demos.

TUESDAY

8:00-9:00 GLEE: (Adults 18-49: 3.2/8, 7.9 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-9:30 NEW GIRL: (Adults 18-49: 3.6/9, 7.6 Mil Total Viewers)

9:30-10:00 RAISING HOPE: (Adults 18-49: 2.4/6, 5.3 Mil Total Viewers)

GLEE returned after the holiday to a 3.2/8, up +7% from its previous telecast on 11/15/11 and posted its highest Adults 18-49 in almost two months (since 10/4/11). In addition, GLEE was up by +11% in Total Viewers (7.9 vs. 7.1 Mil), +7% in Adults 18-34 (3.2 vs. 3.0) and +8% in Teens (3.0 vs. 2.8).

At 9pm, NEW GIRL posted 3.6/9, up +3% from its previous original on 11/15/11 and drew its highest Total Viewers and Adults 18-34 ratings in almost two months (since 10/4/11). NEW GIRL was also up from its last original by +10% in Total Viewers (7.6 vs. 6.9 Mil), +8% in Adults 18-34 (4.2 vs. 3.9) and +27% in Teens (2.8 vs. 2.2).

RAISING HOPE closed the night with a 2.4/6, up +9% from 11/15/11 and achieved its highest Teens rating since week two of this season (9/27/11). Compared to its prior original, RAISING HOPE was up +10% in Total Viewers (5.3 vs. 4.8 Mil), +10% in Adults 18-34 (2.3 vs. 2.1) and +47% in Teens (2.2 vs. 1.5).

FOX ranked #2 for the night in Adults 18-49 and #1 in Adults 18-34 (tie) and Teens.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-9:30 THE X FACTOR- WED: (Adults 18-49: 3.7/10, 11.0 Mil Total Viewers)

9:30-10:00 I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER (P): (Adults 18-49: 2.8/7, 6.8 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens, thanks to THE X FACTOR - which was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49 - and the series premiere of I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER.

From 8-9:30pm THE X FACTOR Top 7 performance show posted a 3.7/10, up +16% from the previous week's special Tuesday performance and flat with its performance two weeks before on Wednesday in the comparable 8-9:30p time slot (11/16/11, 3.7).

THE X FACTOR won its 8-9:30p time period in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and grew +28% in its last half-hour vs. its first in the core adult demo

At 9:30pm, the debut of I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER posted 2.8/7, up +47% from last season's premiere of Traffic Light (2/8/11, P, 1.9/5, Tue 9:30p). I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER won its 9:30p half hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

FOX won Thursday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54 and Teens. In fact, in Adults 18-49, FOX has now won nine of the 11 Thursdays so far this season.

THE X FACTOR results show posted a 3.1/9, up +19% from the previous week's special Wednesday performance, and was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54. THE X FACTOR results show posted the same rating as two weeks prior in its regular Thursday time slot and was up +6% in Total Viewers (10.3 vs. 9.7 Mil.)
