Style Joins NBCUniversal's Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media Division's Bravo, Oxygen, mun2, Telemundo, Fandango and Television Without Pity, in Achieving Record Highs

LOS ANGELES - December 14, 2011 - The Style Network marked its best year ever becoming the fastest growing cable network in 2011, according to Nielsen. Now reaching more than 75 million subscribers, the network delivered double-digit growth across all key demos, boasting its most watched year ever in primetime up +52% W18-34, +49% A18-34, +33% W18-49 and +16% in total viewers, while lowering its median age by more than four years to 40.

Style's 2011 growth was fueled by the success of its popular original series "Jerseylicious," "Tia & Tamera," "Big Rich Texas," "Giuliana & Bill" and "Glam Fairy." The freshman series "Tia & Tamera," was the network's most watched series ever, which delivered nearly one million total viewers and demonstrated its young female appeal by outperforming the CW's primetime average by +12% in W18-34. Also, "Big Rich Texas," the network's second most watched freshman series ever was one of the year's fastest growing new series across all cable networks, increasing +74% from premiere to finale among total viewers. The recent premiere of "Glam Fairy" debuted as Style's 2nd most watched series premiere ever, while returning series "Jerseylicious" and "Giuliana & Bill" also posted their largest audiences ever with the 4th season of "Giuliana & Bill" +23% in total viewers and +11% in W18-49 over its prior season. The Style network - one of the cable entertainment brands of NBCUniversal -- including Bravo, E!, mun2, Oxygen, Sprout, Syfy and USA - helped NBCUniversal deliver the #1 audience of affluent and educated viewers in all of television. Additionally, Style joins NBCUniversal's Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media Division's Bravo, Oxygen, mun2, Telemundo, Fandango and Television Without Pity, in achieving record highs for their businesses.

"This year has been full of milestones, firsts and 'best-evers' for Style," said Salaam Coleman Smith, President, The Style Network. "We launched three of our most successful freshman series with 'Tia & Tamera,' 'Big Rich Texas' and 'Glam Fairy' and saw tremendous growth in our returning series 'Jerseylicious' and 'Giuliana & Bill.' With another rich development slate coupled with the strength of our returning series, we look forward to another record-breaking year in 2012."

Style achieved the largest year-over-year primetime growth among W18-49 (+33%) of any mid-tier cable network and three of Style's original series delivered more than 500,000 total viewers including "Tia & Tamera," "Jerseylicious" and "Giuliana & Bill."

Style's digital properties also delivered impressive gains this year with Mystyle.com increasing its average monthly unique visitors to 561,000, while registering 8 million video views this year-to-date, up +7% over last year, according to Omniture. The network's social media sites attracted more than 3 million followers with @mystylequicktip reaching close to one million followers and the "Jerseylicious" Facebook page had 40 million plus impressions in 2011. Style's momentum also continued in the marketplace with numerous multi-platform sponsors including Macy's Hotel Collection, Progresso, Ikea and NYX Cosmetics among others which contributed to a 15 percent revenue increase in advertising sales for 2011.
