AMERICAN IDOL AND NASCAR DRIVE ANOTHER WEEKLY VICTORY FOR FOX

FOX Wins Monday Through Thursday, Beats No. 2 Network by +55% in Core Adult Demo

With three strong nights of AMERICAN IDOL and the NASCAR: DAYTONA 500 in primetime, FOX won last week by a +55% margin among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 1 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers. In fact, thanks to AMERICAN IDOL, FOX delivered the highest-rated Tuesday night on any network this season.

Season to date, FOX is averaging a 3.3/9 in the core adult demographic and continues to rank as the No. 1 network this season. Excluding last year's Super Bowl, FOX is up +3% among Adults 18-49 and up +5% in Total Viewers year-over-year.

FOX's coverage of the DAYTONA 500 led FOX to a nightly win among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers. Thanks to the race FOX delivered its most-watched Monday night in sixteen months, dating back to Game 5 of the 2010 World Series (11/1/10).

*The 7:14p-1a DAYTONA 500 ratings are an average of the 7:14-10:34p and 11:58p-1a portions which were separated by an accident on the track.

TUESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL (S): (Adults 18-49: 5.1/13, 16.1 Mil Total Viewers)

Airing the AMERICAN IDOL Top 12 Boys performance show, FOX won Tuesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens. In fact, FOX outperformed its nearest competitor for the night by +82% in Adults 18-49 (5.1 vs. 2.8 for CBS), +153% in Adults 18-34 (3.8 vs. 1.5 for CBS) and +10% in Total Viewers (16.1 vs. 14.6 for CBS).

AMERICAN IDOL gave FOX the highest rated Tuesday night this season on any network in Adults 18-49.

Tuesday's installment of AMERICAN IDOL posted a 5.1/13, even with the previous Wednesday's 'Final Judgment #1' (5.1/14 on 2/22/12). In Adults 18-34, AMERICAN IDOL was up +12% (3.8 vs. 3.4) from the previous Wednesday

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens and outperformed the #2 program of the night, CBS' NCIS by +46% in Adults 18-49 (5.1 vs. 3.5) and +100% in Adults 18-34 (3.8 vs. 1.9).

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 5.0/13, 17.2 Mil Total Viewers)

Airing the AMERICAN IDOL Top 12 Girls performance show, FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens. FOX beat the next highest rated competitor for the night by +72% in Adults 18-49 (5.0 vs. 2.9 for both ABC and CBS) and +50% in Total Viewers (17.2 vs. 11.5 for CBS). FOX has now won seven Wednesdays in a row among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 5.0/13, and was up from the previous Wednesday's telecast by +7% in Total Viewers (17.2 vs. 16.1 Mil.). Versus Tuesday's installment, IDOL was up +7% in Total Viewers (17.2 vs. 16.1 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL was once again the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Teens and outperformed the #2 programs of the night by +4% in Adults 18-49 (5.0 vs. 4.8 for Modern Family) and +38% in Total Viewers (17.2 vs. 12.5 Mil for Criminal Minds).

THURSDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 5.4/15, 18.5 Mil Total Viewers)

On Thursday, AMERICAN IDOL revealed the Top 13 finalists and gave FOX its seventh consecutive Thursday victory among Adults 18-49. FOX beat the night's next highest rated network by +157% in Adults 18-49 (5.4 vs. 2.1 for CBS), +112% in Adults 18-34 (3.6 vs. NBC's 1.7) and +95% in Total Viewers (18.5 vs. 9.5 for CBS).

AMERICAN IDOL posted a 5.4/15, up +20% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 (2/23/12, 4.5/13) and up +24% in Adults 18-34 (3.6 vs. 2.9). AMERICAN IDOL was also up +19% from the previous week in Total Viewers (18.5 vs. 15.6 Mil.) and posted its highest Thursday so far this season in this measure.

Thursday's airing of AMERICAN IDOL delivered its highest rated telecast of the week, up +6% from Tuesday in Adults 18-49 (5.4 vs. 5.1), up +8% from Wednesday (5.4 vs. 5.0) in the core demographic. In Total Viewers, Thursday's AMERICAN IDOL was up +15% from Tuesday and +8% from Wednesday.

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens.

FOX's Animation Domination lineup won Sunday night among Adults 18-34, Teens and Men 18-49.

At 8pm, THE SIMPSONS posted a 2.5/7 and won its half hour among Men 18-49 and Men 18-34. The season finale of NAPOLEON DYNAMITE followed with a 2.0/5 and ranked #1 in its half hour in Teens, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34.

At 9pm FAMILY GUY delivered a 2.8/7. FAMILY GUY was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-34, Teens and Men 18-49 and won its half hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

AMERICAN DAD closed out the night with a 2.1/5 and was the second-highest rated program of the night in Teens (behind FAMILY GUY).
