FOX Weekly Ratings - Rising "American Idol" Propels Network to Another Weekly Victory

RISING AMERICAN IDOL PROPELS FOX TO ANOTHER WEEKLY VICTORY

FOX On Track to Win Eighth Consecutive Season

Boosted by AMERICAN IDOL ratings gains, FOX ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens for the sixth consecutive week. The network averaged a 2.2/7 in the core adult demo last week and is projected to rank No. 1 for the eighth straight season among Adults 18-49 -- +7% ahead of the second-place network.

In addition, FOX's AMERICAN IDOL claimed the Top 2 program rankings last week among Adults 18-49 and Teens. Key highlights from last week include:

· FOX had 5 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 1), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 2), FAMILY GUY (No. 15), GLEE 9P (No. 18 tie) and GLEE (No. 18 tie).

· 8 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 2), FAMILY GUY (No. 5), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 7), GLEE 9P (No. 9 tie), GLEE (No. 9 tie), THE SIMPSONS (No. 13), HOUSE (No. 16) and BOB'S BURGERS (No. 19).

The BONES season finale posted a 1.9/6. BONES was up in Total Viewers from the previous week (+3%, 7.2 vs. 7.0 Mil).

At 9pm the penultimate episode of HOUSE delivered a 2.2/6, up +5% from the previous week in both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (6.4 vs. 6.1 Mil).

TUESDAY

8:00-9:00 GLEE: (A18 49: 2.5/8, 6.1 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 GLEE (S): (A18 49: 2.5/7, 6.0 Mil Total Viewers)

On Tuesday, FOX won the night among Adults 18-34 and Teens and ranked third in Adults 18-49.

Back to back episodes of GLEE at 8pm (2.5/6) and 9pm (2.5/7) tied as the #1 programs of the night among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

In head to head competition in the 8-10p time period, GLEE outperformed this season's second episode of America's Got Talent by +4% in Adults 18-34 (2.5 vs. 2.4).

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 4.9/14, 17.7 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Wednesday night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens, and all key demos. FOX beat its nearest competitor on the night by +75% among Adults 18-49, by +78% among Adults 18-34 and +69% among Total Viewers. FOX has now won 18 consecutive Wednesdays among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, and Teens.

The 'Top 3 Finalists Perform' telecast of AMERICAN IDOL posted a 4.9/14 with Adults 18-49. AMERICAN IDOL was up +9% from the previous Wednesday (4.5/13), by +10% among Adults 18-34 and by +7% among Total Viewers (17.7 vs. 16.5 Mil). AMERICAN IDOL delivered its highest number of Total Viewers in seven weeks (since 3/28/12).

AMERICAN IDOL was the No. 1 program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54, and Teens, outperforming the night's No. 2 program by +26% among Adults 18-49 (4.9 vs. 3.9 for ABC's Modern Family) and +29% among Total Viewers (17.7 vs. 13.7 Mil for CBS' Criminal Minds).

FOX won Thursday night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, and Teens, outperforming its nearest competitor by +19% among Adults 18-49 (3.1 vs. 2.6 for ABC). FOX has now ranked No. 1 for 18 consecutive Thursdays among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, and Teens -- every week AMERICAN IDOL has been on Thursday this season.

AMERICAN IDOL (1 of 3 voted off) posted a 4.4/15 in the core adult demo. Among Adults 18-49, IDOL was up +10% week over week (4.0/13). In Total Viewers AMERICAN IDOL was up +5% from the previous week (16.4 vs. 15.6 Mil). AMERICAN IDOL posted its highest Thursday Adults 18-49 rating in seven weeks (since 3/29/12) and its highest number of Thursday Total Viewers in ten weeks (since 3/8/12).

AMERICAN IDOL was the No. 1 program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers and Teens. IDOL outperformed the night's second-place program by +7% in Adults 18-49 (4.4 vs. 4.1 for Grey's Anatomy) and +21% in Total Viewers (16.4 vs.13.5 Mil for Person of Interest).

At 9pm, TOUCH delivered a 1.7/5 and ranked #1 in its hour among Teens (tie).

THE CLEVELAND SHOW, THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY all won their respective time periods in Adults 18-34 and Men 18-49.

At 7p an encore THE SIMPSONS did 1.0/4 followed by the season finale of THE CLEVELAND SHOW which did 1.3/4.
