With original programming and sports leading the way, TNT finished the second quarter of 2012 as basic cable's #1 network in primetime delivery of adults 18-49. TNT also won the younger end of that demo, adults 18-34. And in total day, TNT finished the quarter #1 among adults 25-54.

Ending the quarter on a high note, TNT scored exceptional primetime growth in June, with total viewers up +36%, adults 18-49 up +38% and adults 25-54 up +34%, compared to June 2011.

For the final week of June, TNT claimed three of basic cable's Top 5 dramas for the week, with Rizzoli & Isles and Dallas leading a pack that also includes Falling Skies.

TNT's Rizzoli & Isles was basic cable's top drama for the week with 5.4 million viewers, which has grown to a Live + 3 total of 7.2 million viewers, up +5% over the prior week's episode. Among key demos, Rizzoli & Isles brought in 2.0 million adults 18-49 in Live + 3 (1.3 million Live + Same Day) and 2.5 million adults 25-54 (1.7 million L+SD).

Rizzoli & Isles was followed by a new episode of Franklin & Bash, which averaged 3 million viewers in Live + Same Day, growing to 3.9 million in Live + 3 delivery. Franklin & Bash also nabbed 1.6 million adults 18-49 in Live + 3 (871,000 Live + Same Day) and 1.7 million adults 25-54 (1.1 million L+SD). With the combination of Rizzoli & Isles and Franklin & Bash TNT ranked #1 for the night on Tuesday among total viewers.

Wednesday's episode of Dallas wrangled 4.8 million viewers in Live + Same Day, which has grown to 6.1 million viewers in Live + 3. Dallas currently ranks as basic cable's #1 new series for the year-to-date, marking the third consecutive year TNT has claimed the top new show.

TNT's epic series Falling Skies captured 3.8 million viewers in Live + Same Day Sunday night, with 1.7 million adults 18-49 and 1.9 million adults 25-54. With Falling Skies and The Great Escape, TNT won the 9-11 p.m. block as basic cable's top network with key adult demos.

Meanwhile, according to the most recent time-shifted viewing data, the June 5 premiere episode of Rizzoli & Isles finished with 8.0 million viewers in Live + 7. In the demos, the premiere scored 2.4 million adults 18-49 and 2.9 million adults 25-54. The premiere episode of Franklin & Bash topped off with a total of 4.5 million viewers in Live + 7, as well as 1.9 million adults 18-49 and 2.0 million adults 25-54.
