"America's Got Talent" Ties for #1 for the Night in 18-49, #1 Outright in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, July 18.

Wednesday Results:

· From 9-10 p.m. ET, the "America's Got Talent" Results Show (1.9/6 in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall) is currently tied for the #1 18-49 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox (with CBS's "Big Brother") and is #1 outright among those networks for the night in total viewers. "Talent" led its time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures and built on its lead-in by 138 percent in 18-49 rating.

· From its first half-hour to its second, "Talent" increased by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.8) and by 12 percent in total viewers (7.9 million vs. 7.1 million). For its final half-hour from 9:30-10 p.m., "America's Got Talent" ranked #1 outright in 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, with a 24 percent advantage for that half-hour over Fox's second-place "So You Think You Can Dance" (with a 2.1 rating vs. a 1.7).

· At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" captured a 1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall. In the time period, "SVU" is currently tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49, within a tenth of a point of first place, and is #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in the hour in women 18-49 and adults and women 18-34.

· At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" delivered a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall. Pending updates, this is NBC's biggest overall audience in the half-hour, excluding sports, since May 23. Week to week, "Off Their Rockers" is up 3 percent in total viewers (4.670 million vs. 4.534 million).

· At 8:30 ET, a rebroadcast of "Up All Night" averaged a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall Pending updates, "Up All Night" is up a tenth of a point week to week in 18-49 to deliver its highest rating since June 13. "Up All Night" is also currently reporting a summer high in total viewers (pending updates).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.0/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; "Nightline," 1.0/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
