"Saving Hope" Reports Its Top 18-49 and Total-Viewer Results of the Summer
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, August 16.

[via press release from NBC]

Thursday Results (NBC carried local NFL Pre-Season football in Cleveland and Milwaukee, CBS carried the NFL in Columbus and Dayton):

· Pending updates, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" averaged a 1.0/4 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall, and at 8:30, a rebroadcast of "Parks and Recreation" delivered a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall. Though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage, they currently represent summer highs for both shows.

· Pending updates, at 9 p.m. ET, "Saving Hope" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) is currently reporting its top 18-49 and total-viewer results of the summer, though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage. Pending updates, "Saving Hope" is currently up versus its most recent telecast on July 26 by 50 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.6) and 49 percent in total viewers (4.175 million vs. 2.793 million). "Saving Hope" is currently showing a half-hour to half-hour gain of a tenth of a rating point in 18-49 (to a 0.9 from a 0.8) and 10 percent in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 4.0 million), pending updates.

· Pending updates, at 10 p.m. ET, "Rock Center" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) is currently reporting its top 18-49 and total-viewer results since July 12 and matching its highest 18-49 rating of the summer, though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage. Pending updates, "Rock Center" is currently the top non-sports choice in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in total viewers and adults 25-54. Versus its most recent telecast on July 26, "Rock Center" is currently up 50 percent in 18-49 (to a 1.2 vs. a 0.8) and 37 percent in total viewers (5.152 million vs. 3.770 million) and versus the week before that, "Rock Center" is currently up 71 percent in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.7), pending updates. Compared with NBC's averages in the time period last summer, last night's "Rock Center" is currently up 33 percent in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9, L+SD non-sports) and 100 percent in total viewers (5.152 million vs. 2.579 million), pending updates.
