FOX Weekly Ratings - Network Ranks No. 1 Among Adults 18-34, Thanks to Strong Performances by "Hell's Kitchen," "MasterChef"

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 20 - 26, 2012

Averaging a 1.4/4 among Adults 18-49, FOX delivered a very close third-place finish in the core demographic last week, only one tenth behind first-place CBS and NBC (1.5/5). FOX ranked No. 1 last week among Adults 18-34, thanks to strong performances by HELL'S KITCHEN, MASTERCHEF and new Gordon Ramsay hit HOTEL HELL. Overall, last week FOX had:

FOX won Monday night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and outperformed the No. 2 nets of the night by +77% in Adults 18-49 (2.3 vs. 1.3 for each CBS and NBC).

HELL'S KITCHEN and HOTEL HELL were the top two-rated programs of the night in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

At 8pm HOTEL HELL delivered a 2.0/6, up +5% from the previous week's debut in Adults 18-49 and up +2% in Total Viewers (5.2 vs. 5.1 Mil). HOTEL HELL was the No. 2 program of the night in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, behind only HELL'S KITCHEN, and ranked No. 1 in its 8pm hour in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens (tie).

HELL'S KITCHEN followed with a 2.6/7. HELL'S KITCHEN was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and won its 9pm hour in those same demos.

TUESDAY

8:00-9:00 MASTERCHEF (R): (Adults 18-49: 1.3/4, 3.3 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 MASTERCHEF: (Adults 18-49: 2.4/7, 6.0 Mil Total Viewers)

On Tuesday, FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-49 and won the night in Adults 18-34, outperforming the No. 2 network, NBC, by +14% (1.6 vs. 1.4) in that demographic.

Following an encore MASTERCHEF (1.3/4) at 8pm, and original MASTERCHEF at 9pm posted a 2.4/7 among Adults 18-49, up +5% in Total Viewers (6.0 vs. 5.7 Mil.) MASTERCHEF was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34 and Women 18-49 (tie).
