Last night's THE VAMPIRE DIARIES was up in viewers and key demos versus the series' second episode a year ago, up 9% in total viewers (2.7M), up 8% in A18-34 (1.3/4), and up 12% in W18-34 (1.9/6), while holding steady in A18-49.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES beat ABC and NBC in A18-34 and ranked #2 in the hour in W18-34.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST held about even with THE SECRET CIRCLE's second episode a year ago in total viewers (2M) and off a tenth in A18-34.
