ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Garners Huge Gains Across Digital Media Platforms

ABC'S "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" GARNERS HUGE GAINS ACROSS DIGITAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

Last Night's Episode Featuring Matt Damon Generated More Tweets Than Any Other "JKL" Episodes on Record

In addition to ranking as the No. 1 late-night show on Thursday (1/24/13) in both Households (2.92 rating) and Adults 18-49 (1.23 rating) in Nielsen's 56 Metered Markets, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" also saw huge gains across digital platforms, topping all four late-night competitors in total tweets and unique users. Last night's episode generated more tweets than any other episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on record, up more than 230% above average.

On ABC.com, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show section saw its traffic increase over the past two days, delivering triple-digit increases in page views. The show's YouTube channel delivered over 550,000 video views in the hours immediately following the airing of last night's episode.

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel's arch nemesis, Oscar winner Matt Damon, exacted his revenge following a decade of torture by hijacking Kimmel's late-night show and renaming it "Jimmy Kimmel Sucks." Damon showed Kimmel how it's done by packing his one-evening-only late-night turn with comedy and a cavalcade of A-list stars. On the heels of the ratings success of the episode, it will have a special primetime encore, TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 at 10:00 p.m., ET. (Rebroadcast. OAD: 1/24/13)
