NBC RESULTS FOR THE PRIMETIME WEEK OF JAN. 21-27

MONDAY'S 'BIGGEST LOSER' MATCHES THE SHOW'S HIGHEST 18-49 RATING SINCE DECEMBER 2011

ON TUESDAY, 'PARENTHOOD' BEATS THE SLOT'S ABC AND CBS DRAMA COMPETITION IN 18-49 FOR A SEVENTH STRAIGHT TELECAST

NBC SPORTS' COVERAGE OF THE 'NFL PRO BOWL' WINS SUNDAY AMONG ABC, CBS, NBC AND FOX IN ALL KEY MEASURES

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - January 29, 2013 - NBC has delivered a 1.7 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall for the primetime ratings week of January 21-27, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.

For the week, NBC Sports' coverage of Sunday's "2013 NFL Pro Bowl" ranked #4 among primetime programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was the #1 show among those networks in men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

Season to date, NBC ranks #1 in adults 18-49 with a 16 percent increase over its year-ago rating (with a 2.9 vs. a 2.5). NBC is also up by 13 percent in total viewers (8.3 million vs. 7.3 million) and by double-digit percentages in all other key categories. It's NBC's highest 18-49 rating at this point in the season in five years (since the 2007-08 season).

Primetime averages for the week of January 21-27 in adults 18-49 are: Fox, 2.7/7; CBS, 1.8/5; ABC, 1.7/5; NBC, 1.7/5; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 8.9 million; Fox, 7.1 million; ABC, 5.7 million; NBC, 5.4 million; and CW, 1.7 million.

Season to date averages through eight weeks are: NBC, 2.9/8; CBS, 2.8/8; Fox, 2.5/7; ABC, 2.3/6; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 11.7 million; NBC, 8.3 million; ABC, 7.8 million; Fox, 6.8 million; and CW, 1.8 million.

NBC highlights for the week of January 21-27

Monday: "The Biggest Loser" (2.4 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) equaled its highest 18-49 rating for a regularly scheduled episode since the "Biggest Loser 12" finale on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 (2.7 from 9-11).

Tuesday: At 8 p.m. ET, "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) scored the show's highest 18-49 rating for an 8-8:30 telecast since April 25, 2012, and then at 8:30, a second "Off Their Rockers" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) tied for the show's second-highest 8:30 rating ever.

At 10 p.m. ET, "Parenthood" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 4.8 million in total viewers) ranked #1 in the hour over the drama competition on ABC and CBS in adults 18-49 and other key demographics, making this the seventh straight "Parenthood" to out-rate the ABC and CBS drama competition in the slot in 18-49.

Thursday: "30 Rock" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) matched its second-highest rating of the season and generated the show's biggest overall audience since March 15, 2012.

At 8:30 p.m. ET, "Parks and Recreation" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 3,9 million viewers overall) built on its 18-49 lead-in by 21 percent and hit a season high in total viewers. In its first two weeks in the 8:30 half-hour, "Parks and Recreation" has delivered NBC's two highest 18-49 ratings with comedy programming in the slot since March 15, 2012.

At 9:31 p.m. ET, "1600 Penn" (1.3/3 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall) grew versus the prior week by 8 percent in both 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2) and total viewers (3.3 million vs. 3.0 million).

Friday: At 8 p.m., an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) captured NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since December 7. Then at 8:30, a second "Off Their Rockers" rebroadcast (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers) equaled NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since that same date.

Sunday: NBC Sports' coverage of the "2013 NFL Pro Bowl" (4.0/10 in 18-49, 12.2 million viewers overall) won the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key ratings categories. This year's coverage finished within 7 percent of last year's telecast in 18-49 (4.0 vs. 4.3) and within 3 percent in total viewers (12.2 million vs. 12.5 million).

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."
