GOLD RUSH Grabs 4.7 Million Viewers and BERING SEA GOLD Grabs 2.57 Million Viewers

Discovery Channel Beats NBC and FOX in Both P18-49 and P25-54 on Friday

(Silver Spring, MD) Discovery Channel was the top network in ALL OF TELEVISION Friday, February 1st across multiple male demos with the top three cable television programs for that evening (#1 - "Gold Rush" 9PM, #2 - "Bering Sea Gold" 10PM and #3 - "Gold Rush" 8PM). This marks the 13th consecutive week Discovery ruled Friday evening programming with GOLD RUSH ranking #1 in all of cable television in Men 25-54 and Men 18-49 delivery. Discovery also beat both NBC and FOX in P18-49 and P25-54 on Friday night.

Discovery Channel's GOLD RUSH earned a 3.07 HH/2.55 P25-54/2.02 P18-49 and delivered 4.70 million viewers P2+ making it the #1 ad-supported cable program among HH, P2+, P18+, P/M/W25-54, P/M/W18-49 and P/M18-34 delivery, no exclusions. It was also the #1 program in ALL OF TELEVISION in numerous key demos on Friday night that included M 25-54, M18-49 (no exclusions) and #1 M18-34 delivery, English-language nets and excludes sports nets.

BERING SEA GOLD earned 1.77 HH/1.44 P25-54/1.07 P18-49 rating and delivered 2.57 million total viewers P2+ and was the #2 ad-supported cable program on Friday night behind only GOLD RUSH among both P/M 25-54 and P/M 18-49 delivery, no exclusions (among English-language nets). It was also #5 in ALL OF TELEVISION among M25-54 delivery, no exclusions.

GOLD RUSH: THE DIRT, the behind-the-scenes show featuring the cast and crew of GOLD RUSH, 8PM telecast earned 1.26 HH/1.01 P25-54 and delivered 1.92 million viewers P2+ and was the #3 ad-supported cable program on Friday night behind BERING SEA GOLD among both M25-54 and M18-49 delivery, excludes sports.

Discovery Channel also beat both NBC and FOX in the highly valued P18-49, as well as P25-54 Friday night.

All new episodes of GOLD RUSH air 2/8 at 8PM ET/PT and 9PM ET/PT and BERING SEA GOLD airs a new episode at 10PM ET/PT.
