"Hannibal" Has Now Delivered NBC's Three Highest 18-49 Ratings in Its Time Period This Season with Entertainment Programming
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, April 18.

Thursday Results:

* At 8 p.m. ET, "Community" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) is up week to week in 18-49 for a second week in a row and up week to week in total viewers for a third week in a row, to earn its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in five weeks (since March 7). Versus one week ago, "Community" is up 8 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2) and versus two weeks ago, the increase is 30 percent (1.3 vs. 1.0).

* Last week's "Community" grew by 34 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.19) to "live plus three day" results (1.60).

* From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "The Office" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall.

* From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "Parks and Recreation" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall) scored the show's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 7. Versus last week's telecast in the 8:30 half-hour, the 9 p.m. "Parks" last night was up 13 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.5) and up 6 percent in total viewers (3.341 million vs. 3.146 million). Both the 9 p.m. and 9:31 episodes of "Parks" ranked #1 in their time periods among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34.

* From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, a second telecast of "Parks and Recreation" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) maintained 100 percent of the 9 p.m. episode's 18-49 rating to match the show's top rating since February 7. Excluding an hour-long "Office" and an NFL game, this is NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the slot since November 15.

* Last week's "Parks and Recreation" grew by 41 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.52) to "live plus three day" results (2.14).

* At 10:01 p.m. ET, "Hannibal" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) topped NBC's time-period average this season prior to "Hannibal" by 40 percent in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.0, L+SD, excludes live news and sports). Versus encore drama competition on ABC and CBS, "Hannibal" is #1 for the hour on ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-34.

* In its three weeks so far, "Hannibal" has now delivered NBC's three highest 18-49 ratings in the time period this season with entertainment programming (excludes live news and sports).

* "Hannibal" is a highly time-shifted series, last week growing by 57 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.67) to "live plus three day" results (2.62).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.3/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/3 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
