ABC Late-Night (Monday - Friday)

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m., ABC won the first full week of the May 2013 sweep (w/o 4/29/13). The Net grew over the prior week by 3% in Total Viewers (2.175 million vs. 2.120 million) and 3% in Adults 18-49 (721,000 vs. 698,000).

· ABC (2.175 million) was the most-watched network in late-night for the 9th time in 17 weeks with its new lineup - beating the wins of CBS (2.117 million) and NBC (2.093 million) combined (CBS=5, NBC=3).

· Taking the top spot in 14 of 17 weeks with its new lineup, ABC stood as the No. 1 network in late-night once again in Adults 18-49 (721,000), leading CBS by 15% (627,000) and NBC by 3% (700,000).

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F 11:35 p.m.)

During the week of April 29, 2013, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was up week to week in both Total Viewers (+3% - 2.471 million vs. 2.405 million) and Adults 18-49 (+2% - 820,000 vs. 802,000). "JKL" also grew over its performance on the same week last year by 30% in Total Viewers and by 17% in Adults 18-49 (1.907 million and 700,000 on w/o 4/30/12), growing year over year in each of the 17 weeks since its move to 11:35 p.m.

· Despite airing a repeat telecast on Friday, ABC's "JKL" topped a week of all-original episodes of CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" by 7% in Adults 18-49 (820,000 vs. 766,000), marking the ABC program's 5th win in 6 weeks over "The Late Show."

Since the move to 11:35 p.m. (17 week average), ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" stands just 105,000 Adult 18-49 viewers from NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (917,000 vs. 1.022 million). In fact, "JKL" has eliminated three-quarters of its young adult gap with "The Tonight Show" since the move to 11:35 p.m. (-75% - 105,000 vs. 419,000), as more than 400,000 Adult 18-49 viewers stood between the two late-night programs during the same 17 weeks last year.

"JKL" outdelivers CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" by 60,000 Adult 18-49 viewers head to head at 11:35 p.m. (+7% - 917,000 vs. 857,000).

Among Adults 18-34, ABC's "JKL" (320,000) ties NBC's "Tonight Show" (321,000) as the No. 1 broadcast talk show in late-night, while leading CBS' "The Late Show" by 17% (274,000).

Seventeen weeks into its new 11:35 p.m. time slot, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is up over its performance through this point last year by 38% in Adults 18-49 (917,000 vs. 665,000) and by 41% in Adults 18-34 (320,000 vs. 227,000), standing as the only late-night broadcast talk show to improve year over year in both Nielsen measures.
