THE "2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS" EXPLODES ACROSS ALL SCREENS AS NETWORK'S BIGGEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR EVENT BREAKS RECORDS ACROSS SOCIAL, CMT.COM AND CMT MOBILE

NASHVILLE - June 6, 2013 - Hosts Jason Aldean and Kristen Bell rocked the house last night at the CMT MUSIC AWARDS, and today the party continues as CMT celebrates growth across multiple screens, ranking as the #1 most social television show of the day, according to Social Guide. More than 3.4 million total viewers tuned in for the live telecast and encore, with an increase among Women 18-49 (+3%); and the live Red Carpet show posted double-digit gains, up +50% over last year. The show also delivered triple-digit growth in streaming, up +101% on CMT.com over last year, and +118% over last year on CMT Mobile. Ratings are up overall for CMT this quarter, with Prime up +57% over the same time period last year.

Undoubtedly the most "social" CMT MUSIC AWARDS to date, the network embraced the live event across every platform with live streams and near real-time posts of the night's big performances and water-cooler moments at CMT.com and on social media. Votes tripled this year for the show's coveted Video of the Year category, which is voted on live throughout the night at CMT.com and on mobile; and Twitter traffic nearly doubled over the 2012 airing, ranking #1 atop Social Guide's Twitter TV Rankings with 30% of all Twitter users engaged in TV-related conversations tweeting about the show.
