Based on a full week viewing, Disney Channel's "Teen Beach Movie" surged by more than 5 million Total Viewers to become the #2 movie in cable TV history in Total Viewers (13.53 million) and the #2 cable TV telecast of all time across Kids 2-11 (7.94 million/20.0 rating), Kids 6-11 (6.37/27.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (5.11 million/21.5 rating), behind only "High School Musical 2."

· The blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie franchise has now produced 5 of the Top 6 movies in cable TV history in Total Viewers:

· "High School Musical 2" (8/17/07) - #1 scripted cable telecast ever in Total Viewers (18.639 million); #1 cable TV telecast ever in Kids 2-11 (8.210 million), Kids 6-11 (6.536 million) and Tweens 9-14 (6.317 million).

· "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension" (8/5/11) - #1 animated cable TV telecast in Kids 2-11 (6.233 million).

· "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" (11/18/12) - #1 cable TV telecast ever in Kids 2-5 (2.91 million/18.2 rating) and Girls 2-5 (2.13 million/27.2 rating), and #1 preschool cable TV telecast in Total Viewers (8.17 million) and Women 18-49 (1.66 million).
