ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Draws its Largest Audience Since Early July and Posts its Best Adult 18-49 Delivery Since June

ABC's "Nightline" Grows to 6-Week Highs in Key Adult Demos

ABC Late-Night (Monday - Friday)

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of August 5, 2013, ABC delivered week-to-week gains in both Total Viewers (+11% - 1.955 million vs. 1.754 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10% - 648,000 vs. 591,000) to score its best numbers in late-night in 5 weeks and 6 weeks, respectively - since the weeks of 7/1/13 and 6/24/13, respectively.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F 11:35 p.m.)

During the week of August 5, 2013, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" grew over the prior week by 13% in Total Viewers (2.245 million vs. 1.991 million) and by 9% among Adults 18-49 (751,000 vs. 688,000) to draw its biggest overall audience in 5 weeks and deliver its best young adult performance in 6 weeks - since the weeks of 7/1/13 and 6/24/13, respectively.

"Nightline" (M-F 12:35 a.m.)

ABC News' "Nightline" averaged 1.369 million Total Viewers, 556,000 Adults 25-54 and 440,000 Adults 18-49 for the week of August 5, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show" by its largest margins in 7 weeks (since w/o 6/17/13) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+237,000), Adults 25-54 (+53,000) and Adults 18-49 (+52,000).

"Nightline" improved on the prior week among Total Viewers (+7%), Adults 25-54 (+6%) and Adults 18-49 (+11%) with its strongest performance in the key adult demos in 6 weeks - since w/o 6/24/13.

For the 2nd week in a row, "Nightline" posted year-to-year gains on ABC's performance in the time period in Total Viewers (+21%), Adults 25-54 (+6%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%) - 1.127 million, 525,000, and 428,000, respectively, on w/o 8/6/13.
